    We stayed at the Ritz Carlton Vienna and experienced excellent personalized service . At the reception , Oliver greeted us , ensured we were familiar with the hotel and at every turn offered to assist us . The staff at the breakfast and bar were equally professional and welcoming . Our room had a balcony , no particular view but was extremely quiet .The location was very convenient to walk to all the major sights . The pool and spa facilities are modern and clean . I would say the only draw back to this hotel was the doormen , who were often absent and encouraged us to take taxis (the only time we did ,the taxi charged us double the uber rate - I believe the doorman should have advised us that there was a fixed rate .)     Excellent Location and Luxurious Hotel
    I've stayed at several Conrad & Waldorf hotels from Hilton, but this was my first time staying at a Ritz Carlton. I highly recommend this Vienna hotel! Rooms were nice, spacious, and clean! Very luxurious! Dijana made our stay exceptional! I felt like she was family by the time we left! Concierge was also essential in securing us some opera tickets. When I had looked online only very expensive tickets were available. The concierge was able to get us cheaper tier tickets for a small service fee. We arranged this in advance by email and credit card. It was a life saver as we didn't want to miss out on the Vienna Opera. Hotel location is excellent as it's feet from the trolley line and a brisk walk to the subway station. Beautiful gardens, shops, and restaurants are all a small walk in whichever direction. We missed out on the roof bar as it closes early, but there are several nice on-site restaurants including a steakhouse and also a Sicilian restaurant. There's a spa and pool in the lower ground level. I would absolutely stay at the Ritz in Vienna again.

    Very nice place to stay in the centre of Vienna
    Ritz-Carlton is for many synonymous with luxury. But what luxury means nowadays? Honestly, the hotel offers rooms, which you may find in many hotels, not necessarily 5*. Large bed, nice linen, spacious bathroom with marble on the floor and walls, Nespresso coffee machine. So, what makes 5*, in case of Ritz-Carlton. In my opinion: 1) absolutely fantastic location at the Schubert ring, near the park and underground station, 15 minutes to Steffl, 5 minutes to Opera and Musikverein, 2) aesthetics of the building façade, 3) very good service, with helpful, merry consierge, 4) cheeses, juices, salmon and eggs during the breakfast; 5) pool and saunas, 6) windows that you can open if you wish. The breakfast itself was of a very good quality but offered a bit too limited choice of food.

This is a truly exceptional hotel. From arrival to departure the staff provides excellent, personalised and friendly service. We had access to the Club Lounge which offers breakfast, light lunch, afternoon snaps and light dinner. It is a haven of tranquility. We also enjoyed the Mixology and Negroni experience which are highly recommended. The room (we had a corner junior suite on the 4th floor) was very comfortable and clean with a big separate dressing room, large bathroom and separate toilet. The bed was very comfortable. The Pastamara bar and Sicilian restaurant is great to have a drink and have something small to eat. The DBar has a very competent bartender offering his own creations and variations on classics. There is also a lovely roofbar (Atmosphere bar) where you can have a drink and watch the sun go down.

We had a cross contintent visit. We arrived before check in. We were given a free cocktail/snack at the restaurant while the room was readied. The waiter retrieved our keys when they were ready. Daily turn down service was a good experience. Nice room. Balcony. Overly attentive staff. Will return. I'm not sure why the complaints on this forum unless they are looking for a hand out. Good location.

A modern and chic hotel in the heart of Vienna. The Ritz-Carlton was nothing short of excellent in terms of service and location. The staff were courteous and the rooms were well appointed. There were excellent restaurants on-site and a great rooftop bar with views of the city.

Went for a couple of drinks with my friend it was awesome ! We also had the opportunity to speak with Norman at the entrance of the hotel and he was just so kind, he gave us some places to see and some things to do in Vienna as we had just arrived, wonderful smile and big hospitality, we will never forget him

We’ve been a Bonvoy Platinum member for many years and this hotel tops the list of the best we’ve visited. Alexandur (?) greeted us by name as we’ve tied the taxi and escorted us to the front desk. Our room was ready early as requested and we received a most generous upgrade to a fabulous suite. The food/drinks in the lounge is worth the additional expense. The view from the rooftop bar is breathtaking and the staff very jovial and attentive. By far, the best experience was Oscar at the concierge desk. We approached him with difficulty in booking a train ticket back to Budapest. After quite a while of neither of us understanding what was going on with the Eurorail app/website, he took it upon himself to book us two tickets on the train back to Budapest, free gratis. We attempted to pay and he refused. The staff here called you by name and were all so kind. We will definitely be a repeat Ritz Carlton Vienna customer.

This hotel suffers from a lack of proper management, extending from upper management to entry-level staff. They tend to dismiss guest feedback and respond with a negative attitude, which falls far short of what can be considered a genuine luxury hotel experience. The hotel's management team displays an attitude of arrogance and indifference, showing little regard for consumer rights. The front desk staff severely lack the appropriate knowledge of Marriott Bonvoy member privileges and professionalism. They respond to customers regarding booked package itineraries without proper verification, and most importantly, the billing is consistently incorrect. When visiting this hotel, it is imperative to thoroughly review the bill and not forget to do so. Astonishingly, they even manipulate the system with unauthorized entries on bills lacking guest signatures, attempting to charge consumers without confirmation – this is clearly deceitful behavior. Despite room rates including daily breakfast, they intentionally attempt to charge for breakfast separately. I find it hard to believe that The Ritz-Carlton Hotel operates in such a manner. It's truly shocking.This is definitely not the behavior expected of the ladies and gentlemen. Encountering numerous inexplicable service deficiencies during our stay, we provided feedback to the hotel management, only to receive vague assurances of careful consideration without any follow-up. There were no sincere apologies, proactive efforts for improvement, or substantial compensatory actions. We even escalated the matter to the hotel's general manager, yet encountered the same indifferent and neglectful attitude. This certainly does not align with the treatment and responses one would expect from a well-known luxury hotel catering to the general public. I will absolutely not give this hotel another chance. Sharing these experiences online serves as a reminder to every prospective consumer with expectations of a pleasant stay – you are likely to be greatly disappointed. Please do not ignore the lessons learned from others' experiences!

I am absolutely FURIOUS with the Ritz-Carlton hotel. I am a loyal customer who has stayed at their hotels all over the world, and I have never had such a HORRENDOUS experience. The hotel management is INCOMPETENT and has NO REGARD for their guests. They charge EXORBITANT prices, but the SERVICE is ABYSMAL. During the holidays, there is NO MANAGER on duty and NO MAINTENANCE STAFF. This is UNACCEPTABLE for a five-star hotel. When I checked into my room, it was DISGUSTING. The bed was UNMADE, the sheets were WRINKLED, and the bathroom was FILTHY. I COMPLAINED to the front desk, but they DID NOTHING to fix the problem. They simply said that "nothing is perfect." I am APPALLED by the ATTITUDE of the hotel management. They are RUDE and DISMISSIVE, and they DO NOT CARE about the quality of their service. I will NEVER stay at Vienna Ritz-Carlton hotel again, and I will ENCOURAGE my friends and family to do the same. I am so ANGRY that I am considering writing a scathing review on every travel website I can find. I want to make sure that no one else has to go through this kind of HELL.

Could have been an ok hotel, but very poorly managed. Check in experience was awful. Be warned that management doesn't understand stays booked with points and made us feel uncomfortable and embarrassed during a 2 hour check in. Rather than demonstrating a "can do" attitude the general manager was super unhelpful and even antagonistic, blaming us for not having booked correctly when he could have easily read the rules and fixed the problem himself (which he did only after sending him a link to his own website to read the rules). Stairs everywhere and long hallways to rooms. Club lounge has very limited hours and food was stale. Go across the street to the Marriott, it's a far better option in Vienna.

I stayed together with my daughter for one night. The experience we had was simply unforgettable from the check in with Philipp, who greeted us with a charming smile, (who also checked us out and made sure our stay was a very special one) to the wonderful surprise at the room! Dinner at Dstrikt Steakhouse was beyond amazing, an incredible big thank you to Hendrik & his entire team for the stunning service that night! Drinks we had afterwards in the Atmosphere Rooftopbar where Roberto welcomed us. When we got back to the room, a freshly made bed awaited us with pillows and comforter fluffed. The housekeeping team really made sure that we didn't have to worry about anything and could fall into bed after this amazing day! During the entire stay we were more than well taken care of. The incredible breakfast was the crowning glory of our stay. When I stay in Vienna, I would choose the Ritz-Carlton every time!

I stayed at different luxury hotels during my time in Vienna, and Ritz-Carlton had definitely the friendliest staff and the best service. The suite was comfortable and spacious. The steakhouse is a must-try, the quality of the food is excellent and the service superb.
