Due to the pandemic we had to change our booking, the hotel acceted rebooking for me but not for my sister. The sales manager Laura treated us very badly, customer service from hell. Will never recommend this hotel to anyone.
Stayed here for four nights. Centrally located, walking distance to major sights. It’s reasonably priced for a 5 star hotel. I’m sure it has something to do with the construction going on outside the hotel. Taxis can’t drop you off in front of the hotel so if you have big heavy luggages, this might be an issue. The construction didn’t really affect us because we were out very early most of the time. But if you like to lie in, make sure you request a room on higher level so you don’t hear the noise so much. We stayed in room 506. Spacious room with its own balcony with a view of St Stephen’s Cathedral. The room is spotless and has individually controlled AC. No kettle or coffee and tea provided, but there are cups and glasses in the cupboard. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel as it is directly on the shopping street Kärntner Straße and surrounded by cafes and restaurants.…
This Hotel Manager, Johann Mikats, was atrocious. It was our Ruby Wedding anniversary and ordered a luxury limo airport pickup. We were met with a large black van! Refused to do anything about it, and charged us for the van! The hotel manager was running scared. Wouldnt meet us at all during our 4 day stay, despite asking every day. We have years of luxury hotel experience, and know the worlds best gm’s. This is the WORST experience I have ever had! Sort yourself out Ambassador Vienna. #ambassadorhotelvienna
It was a very right choice! The price was VERY resonable for 5 stars hotel built in classic imperial architecture style! It is a Palace! Especially you feel it while sitting at the hotel bar at the first floor! Very pleasant and professional staff, always ready to accomodate any request! Strongly recommend this hotel for tourists who are not ready to pay 500+ for 5 stars…. Superb location, nice rooms and very good staff!!!
We stayed only for one night in 2016 but i remember being utterly impressed by the architecture of the building,as well as the great view at the breakfast hall.I am really pleased by the service so i think it’s worth staying there. It is also close to the city center which is a plus
Very nice hotel!! I totally recommend it! The room was clean, the view outstanding and the staff polite and ready to help us with everything we asked for. The location is perfect. Couldn’t be more central! It is in the middle of Kraben street.
I arrived at the hotel around 1pm no problem booking in staff were very helpful. They with out asking upgraded us to a suite which was a nice gesture. This hotel is a 5 star and deserved this accreditation as it is spotless and standards are clearly very high. The location of the hotel is in the middle of the main shopping street and you are surrounded all the key sights Vienna has to offer ( this city is amazing ). So Great Room Great Staff Very Clean Very Safe ( Staff adhere to Covid 19 rules ) Good value and quite rooms. It ticks all the boxes for me and hopefully for you too.
We stayed in a junior suite for 3 nights. The hotel is perfectly located to provide a base to explore this beautiful city. The rooms are spacious and clean but also elegantly furnished and extremely comfortable. The staff are friendly and always on hand to field any questions.
Great classical hotel in the center of Vienna. Perfectly located with most great spots within walking distance (e.g 5-10 min walk) or right next to underground for further ventures. It is classic. Definitely reccomend for central Vienna stay.
We stayed in this hotel for two nights at the end of August, after a long car journey through Europe. We arrived late enough in the evening, around 20 o'clock. The services were well below expectations for a 5 stars hotel in the middle of Vienna. First of all, parking. Due to modernization works that are carried out in front of the hotel, we were guided at front desk to a public parking lot (payed) located to a few minutes walk away, carrying our luggage alone, because there is any bellboy. We should have been warned about that when we booked the room. Hard to belive for a 5-stars hotel! The room’s furniture (century old furniture with historical significance but not practical) is degraded, the upholstery is worn out, the enclosure doors did not close well, and the noise from the next room made by other guests (less tired than we were). Finally, at last breakfast, I have received gluten-free bread expired in July and June respectively (I have gluten intolerance)!!! I’ve noticed that because I’ve got the bread wrapped up. Of course, on check out we had to go alone by walk with the luggage to the parking lot. I recommend this hotel only for the location.…
