We have just returned from Vienna. We spent a long time choosing our hotel and we are glad we did. Domizil is in a surprisingly quiet area in central Vienna, in very close proximity to Stephansplatz, in the shadow of the cathedral. We had a...More
The staff in this hotel was friendly and kind from my first step in to the hotel to the time I checked out. They were helpful with everything.

Very bad service for me and my wife. Will never use this one again. The staff wouldn't give normal service as I am used to from any other hotel. Rude staff. The rooms are ok, but because of the staff I will not recommend this...More
Comfortable, clean hotel with very friendly staff. Great shower, decent breakfast. Not fancy or elegant in a city that charges a lot for those things. The hotel is just a short walk from the cathedral and lots of interesting window shopping.

In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The
Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
