Had a twin room with friend , had the breakfast included option which was good with very inventive staff , room was a little on the small size with no drawers ,and bathroom was fine but shower was small especially for larger person. Position was good with the metro a few steps away unfortunately at this time they are doing alterations to the station and start work at 6am the double glazing does help a bit but did wake me one morning, There are a few bars and restaurants in the area so no need to go into the town centre in the evening.
We stayed here in a difficult situation/time for hotels. Even so we try to be realistic. The hotel was totally empty because of the virus situation. Location is super. Staff was friendly. Family room was big enough. Breakfast was very simple but if nobody is there. Was to prepare? We cannot rate. Some small things in the room could be fixed. And we missed some services like sauna. All in all good.
We stayed in January 2020 for 3 nights in this hotel, very conveniently located nearby subway station, which makes it perfect to enjoy the city without paying extra money. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and big enough. The hotel's bar is cozy and the restaurant has a good choice of meals and amazing staff. Overall a very pleasant experience.
The hotel is well situated for walking into the main shopping district of the city and to the parliament / presidential buildings. The hotel is clean enough, no desirable difference between the normal rooms and the "executive"rooms. Breakfast was good and plentiful. The bar lacks just about everything, an impersonal, sterile area. Meeting rooms was good, well equipped and attended.
The hotel has very poor image, rooms and the lobby are old fashion and very bad maintained (broken fittings and ugly interior). The property is overpriced for what it is. There are not any facilities, that can be used and I wouldn’t give that place 4 stars. Breakfast is very poor with lack of variety.
Well it's a comfortable hotel with cosy rooms. However, the location is not really central. They have a nice restaurant and a separate bar in the lobby. Hassan was the highlight here, he is an asset to the guys and I hope they do all it takes to keep him with them. Very courteous and very customer centric. The wifi is miserable.
The hotel is right next to the train station Pilgramgasse and although this was closed when we were there the next stop was just a 5 minute walk. The hotel is very close to all the main sites, say 10-15 minutes very pleasant walkand really close to NaschMarkt. We had a very nice room, exceptionally clean and comfortable. Breakfast I would say was average, only because there was not perhaps as an extensive choice as in other hotels we have stayed at. The good thing is that there are several restaurants in the hotel so breakfast time works well because they spread people out meaning there are not queues etc. Would stay here again and seemed to be popular with group holiday makers.
I visit Vienna on monthly basis and usually stay in different hotel. However, now I ended up in Ananas hotel. The hotel is really big, I mean really big at least on Vienna scale. The lobby area is looking nice, but seems to be always crowded by arriving or leaving guests. Not really a place to relax and have beer. Room was ok, but a little less than the nice lobby suggested. I had a courtyard room and it was quiet. I had no dinners or lunches here, but three times the breakfast. There is again a really big breakfast restaurant for turist groups, which tends also be noisy and crowded. Luckily I was entitled to a business breakfast, which was served in different restaurant. There it was nice and calm and offering seemed to a bit better than in the ”factory” area. Although the hotel was not a luxury top ten category, it will be just fine for normal travel expectations. Everything was clean and operational, and that is usually all you need. Location is great, especially as they now again open the closest subway station.…
Hotel Ananas is a very Good Hotel near the city centre. There is an Underground station in front of the Hotel and bus stop too. There is a very good breakfast but I wanted something more special like croissants. Austria trend hotel has a very kind and friendly staff. I did not like that in the room which we have booked is normally for two persons but they put an other bed there and our room became for three persons. If you want to travel to Vienna, Austria trend hotel Ananas is a very good place to live. Have a nice trip!!! Breakfast: 8/10 Service: 9/10 Staff: 10/10 Room: 8/10 City: 10/10 Total: 8.5/10
We had a lovely stay in this hotel, we found the staff were very pleasant. Check in was very efficient and our room was comfortable. We had breakfast, which was lovely, fresh fruit salad, cereals, yogurt, breads pastries, cold meats, cheese, scrambled eggs and bacon. We will definitely stay here again.
