I stayed here for 3 nights. Beds and rooms were clean. The hostess is very friendly and held my bag before my check in time as my bus arrived early morning. My only wish was for in room lockers. Price is very straightforward and is very conveniently located near public transit, which is very easy to use in Vienna.

One of the things we liked was that the host was accommodating enough to help us arrive later (by one hour) than the latest check-in time. It was also great from their part to let us keep our luggage there for 3-4 hours after we checked out so that we could do some more sightseeing. The kitchen: toaster, water heater,...

On arriving we were slightly taken back by the lack of signage, but that was only the start. We arrived and were immediately asked to take our shoes off , however the lady seemed nice, then we entered the room and bathroom.,, The room - seemed pleasant , then we saw wood covering patches on the wall , could of...

The place was more or less in the city centre(25min by walk), but the service was not as expected. She pretended to be kind, but in deep we knew she hid something. She did not want to take our luggage for only 3 hours after the check out. And take your shower in the afternoon! Because she very kindly warns...

Pension Vienna Happymit was really great as it was an international flat and it worked a bit as if we were living with roommates. So I would recommend this place if you are interested in meeting new people. I still have to admit that the bed was not that comfortable and the room a bit noisy but I really had...

This place is not a regular hostel, it's someone's apartment adapted to have more beds. It was super clean, and the beds were comfy. The place to go if you want to relax and not have many other people around. The kitchen facilities weren't great, but the bathroom was good.About a 15 minute walk to the city centre, there are...

This isn't a hostel. It's the best hostel ever, I been there for only one day and I love it. The apartments are so cool and big, the staff are so friendly, also the people. All is great there, there's a tram stop near, maybe you get lost at first but then is so easy to get there. Just look...

Staying in Wieden

Neighborhood Profile
Wieden
The fourth district combines elegant tradition with contemporary style and relaxed living. More than a dozen town palaces and churches such as St. Charles Borromeo have added glamour to a neighborhood known for its traditional retail and crafts shops, taverns, cafés. Wieden is also home to Naschmarkt, Vienna’s largest street market. Many bohemian types have found their way to Wieden: meet them in trendy cafés and bars, shop alongside them for vintage items, enjoy Wien Museum’s and Kunsthalle’s modern temporary exhibitions, and hang out with the bees at Vienna’s most beautiful urban garden, Karlsgarten.
