I stayed in this place in end of May 2016. It is a nice place. The receptions are generally very nice & helpful, specially the young man. The room is simple & clean. No noise either inside the hotel or from outside. No fridge inside the room, but they let me keep my food in their small fridge. Very good... More

It was a very good stay in the hotel. It is near the city hall and close to the center. The stuff is nice and the prices are fair. All in all it is a good package. Yes it is not a 5 star hotel but very good to explore the city

We chose this for its location near the university and glad we did. The room is a bit dated but comfortable bed and clean, though smallish bathroom. The breakfast was a good, cold assortment of bread, oj, meats and cheese, yogurt, and boiled eggs and cereal. We were satisfied with the service we got. Martin was especially helpful. We were... In its day, this was a very good hotel. Today, it's old and worn. Room was large, bath adequate, breakfast was the highlight, though not outstanding. If you drink only DeCaf coffee, be sure to bring your own.

The hotel is behind the city hall (which was very convenient if you want to participate in the New Year's Eve festivities in front of the city hall) and about a 10 to 15 minute walk to the museum quarter and Hofburg palace. The bed was comfortable, the breakfast was great for continental style and the staff quite friendly. Would... More

This hotel is very well located at the heart of the city center and is walking distance from major attractions in Vienna. There is very good bar cum restaurant which serves (Veg and Non Veg dishes) in same building as Hotel. Staff is very courteous but please mind there is no room service. This hotel is well suited for person... More

I was visiting Vienna on Business. This hotel is good because it is 5 min walk to shontentour metros and trams, which meant i could go anywhere ! The receptionist is a nice guy too. The breakfast is okay, nothing special, some bread, ham, cheese, cerial, no meat or anything but it still worked for me.

Located between the university and the town hall (Rathaus) on the western edge of Vienna's inner city this simple but friendly and comfortable hotel delivers the sort of convenience that you'd only expect from somewhere in a much higher price bracket. My single room was small but came with an ensuite bathroom and an armchair - much more comfortable for... More

I had booked a room at this pension for four nights however after checking in and being shown the room allocated for my daughter and I, we decided not to stay. The room was in need of a paint and there was mould in the bathroom. The sofa looked as though something was growing on it. I booked this pension... More

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
