The location is about 3-minute walk from Metro station, and easy to find. The reception closes at night ("around 10 pm OR SO"), but oddly the receptionist always encourages you to leave your key at the reception. Do not do that. I got inconvenienced by this, when I failed to catch a train to Bratislava on time and had to... More

On a 3 day stay in Vienna I had pre-booked the Bajazzo and this turned out to be a major boost to the trip. From arrival to departure the staff were friendly, helpful and had it not been for their assistance my 3 days would have been much less productive. Despite the poor service from Grays Line Tours who failed... More

I stayed at this hotel for just one night in June 2015, but it was a very nice, comfortable stay in Vienna. It's located only about 2 blocks from a stop on the green UBahn, and very close to one of the main bus stops in Vienna. It's about a 15-20 minute walk to the city center (Museum Quartier, etc.)... Small single room, good bed. Simple. Clean.Quiet. Ok breakfast. 3 minutts walking distanse to the underground- then 2 stop and you are downtown Vienna. Okey hotel stay If you just want a place to sleep.

This place is in the Center of vienna in walking distance to Stephans Platz, Figlmüller, Hard Rock Cafe and many more places. The room was tiny and so was the bed. The curtains didn't Close properly therefore I had the street light shining into the room all night. Breakfast was pretty basic but enough for everybody.

It was myself, my husband, and my father traveling together. We stayed 4 nights and they were very friendly. The first morning at breakfast, my husband asked what kind of meats the deli meats were (he doesnt eat pork) and the woman wasnt sure so we ate other items and were full and happy. The next day at breakfast, a... More

I was in Vienna in summer and choosing this hotel was a bad idea. The room was way too hot, there was no air conditioning, and the street was too noisy at night to sleep with the windows open, so I did not sleep at all during four days. The bed was two single beds together, instead of a double... More

As I was traveling overnight by bus from Bologna Italy to Vienna, I had made a special request in advance to checkin early. The hotel confirmed by email that they can accommodate my request and my room will be available.. Upon arrival the request was not honored. I showed the confirmation email but they said it really was a request... More

I stayed at Hotel Bajazzo for 2 nights in September 2013. I found the hotel to have quite dated decor (think brown velvet curtains) but both the room and hotel in general were very clean and well maintained. The bathroom was clean and the shower was excellent. Breakfast was served in a small separate breakfast room. Again, the room was... More

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
