Very kind staff and location was perfect, everythink was very near. Breakfast was typical in Europa but it was enough for good start and sparkling wine in sunday morning was nice bonus! Same rooms are without own toilet but no problem, shared toilet work well. Every room have however own shower in the room. Thanks to Pension Neuer Markt team!

Right at the heart of the city centre. Very friendly staff, lovely breakfast. Quiet at night so a good night sleep. Only snag is shared toilet down the corridor but was not a problem as hotel was pretty quiet

We only stayed in Vienna one night for this hotel was just fine for that. Rooms are small but fine. The shower is very snug as well. We opted to get a room without a toilet to save a few bucks. Was never really an issue of waiting but the windows in the bathrooms were always wide open (in January)...

Fantastic location, only a few minutes from the main shopping street and 5-10 minutes walk from St Stephen's Cathedral. Rooms are small but what you'd expect in Europe. Elevator is very very very slow and small. The hotel is on the 3rd floor. Felt very safe in the building. Very comprehensive buffet breakfast and attentive staff a reception staff were...

This hotel's saving grace is its convenient location, right in the centre of Vienna's pedestrian zone, close the underground, shopping, cafés, etc. The hotel itself is dated and although claims to be smoke-free, has the distinct stale cigarette smell throughout. The staff weren't particularly helpful or friendly but rather argumentative and aggressive. The breakfast was your typical European buffet: bread...

The location is in the heart of everything in downtown Vienna. The area is a little noisy, so just keep that in mind. Hotel was small, but normal for a European hotel room. We had a double room with two twin beds. Beds were not that comfortable, but manageable. The hotel itself is non-smoking, but there was a lingering cigarette...

We stayed in a double room over Christmas 2016. The location was excellent, reception staff were very helpful, the breakfast (included) was very good, and the rooms, while not modern, were clean and homely. The bathroom was in need of renovation, and the shower, not having a shower curtain or screen, was a bit problematic as water went everywhere. However,...

Very basic rooms, with own bathroom but if you are overweight you may get stuck in the shower stall. Reception staff pleasant but nit very knowledgeable. Booked online for three nights and the 4th night directly with hotel. Cost us €280 for that extra night. Bit miffed at the ripoff. Breakfast fine though staff very grumpy. Have own shuttle bus...

It looks lovely on the outside, doesn't it? Don't be fooled. The really positive thing about this place is it's location. You are slap bang in the middle of Vienna. 5 mins from St Stephens. You cannot beat it. If you are looking for somewhere simply to sleep, then this is fine. You wont go wrong. However, I wouldn't recommend...

Was in town for the Austria v Ireland football match with a group of lads so the price was the main selling point for us. A no frills hotel that's basic but does the job. Friendly and helpful staff. Typical continental breakfast. Fantastic location, 2 mins from the cathedral and main shopping street. If I'm back in Vienna I'll definitely...

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
