My family and our friends with our kids spent 4 days in Pension Nossek. The location is excellent, but the suit that we had was old and also the double room was old. The beds are old, couch is old....everything is old. When you are watching rooms on the web you can see that they are not the latest but...

This hotel is located right in the heart of Vienna. You are within a short stroll from many of the sights and museums and are surrounded by shops, bars and restaurants. I found the staff at reception extremely friendly and helpful. The bed rooms were quite big and very comfortable. There was a well stocked mini bar with reasonable prices....

Although the location of this hotel was very good, for the price, it was the most disappointing hotel of our trip. the staff were nice, but the least helpful of the 3 countries we visited. There was NO safe, except for in the lobby. I thought this was very bad and not up to current travel standards; the air conditioner...

Dear Guest! The Normal Way to tell somebody when there is a problem is to go to the reception! You booked the tour not direct at the hotel, so in this case we can´t give you a discount ! Next time maybe you should speak to me ! Thank you

We spent just one night here. Having arrived in Vienna earlier than planned we took pot luck with this place as we had two further nights booked at The Guesthouse and wanted to be in the same district. Interesting comparison. This place was about E190 a night; The Guesthouse was over E300 a night. We thought Pension Nossek was rather...

The location was superb, right in the heart of the old Vienna on the famous Graben. You are getting out of the hotel in the morning just to the centre of the famous beautiful, colourful pedestrian street full of fancy shops, cafés, restaurants, near St Peter's Church,Saint Stephens Cathedral and the metro station is a 5-minute walk away. We walked...

Lovely little hotel. Spacious rooms, quaint and very European. Perfect location for walking Vienna. Staff curtious and European breakfast served every morning in quaint dinning area which allowed you to meet other travellers and share experiences. Would recommend highly for the experience of staying in an old building with character.

We had a great stay here, and have already booked another stay for next year. The location on the Graben is convenient for wandering and shopping, and good access to the trains and other local transportation. The included breakfast is good and the staff is friendly and helpful if asked for advice on activities and sights. Our room was spacious...

We really enjoyed our stay at the Pension Nossek for four nights. It is a little quirky to get into it as the reception area is on the 2nd floor of the building (Take the elevator). The hosts and staff were all terrific- nice, informative and helpful. Our room overlooked the main pedestrian street. Although it did, we really got...

This is the perfect location for touring and for shopping. The rooms are high ceilinged and spacious. Important to us was air conditioning and wifi. Both are excellent. Dining was also easy with many restaurants in the area within walking distance . Also within walking distance are St Stephan's(the heart of Vienna), the Statsopera, the Museum Quarter, the Imperial Burial...

You'll feel like you are truly in Vienna. This hotel is in the upper floors of an old building (Mozart lived here briefly) on Graben St., which is a pedestrian zone. Our room looked over the street for great people watching. The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable: good shower, air conditioning, roomy and quiet. Staff were very friendly...

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
