The room was basic but clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help when I was in a huge rush to get to an awards ceremony. The room was quiet, and the location within the city of Vienna was fantastic. Close to the centre but hidden away so nice and quiet, with...

We stayed in one of the budget rooms, where the WC and Shower are in two separate rooms down the hall. However, you get your own key to each and it's only for your room, which is nice! There's a sink and mirror in the bedroom, though. Hotel Austria was great from start to finish. The beds were comfortable, the...

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and we have been very comfortable and well looked after. The rooms are spacious and well furnished with plenty of lighting. The dining room is very large and sumptious. The breakfast is excellent with a wide range of food available. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and the...

Chose the Hotel Austria for a short city break and were not disappointed. The hotel is easy to reach from the airport using bus Val 2 which cost 13 euros per person for a return ticket. Buses go every 30 minutes and take roughly 20 mins. The hotel is about 3 - 5 minutes walk from the terminus. Vienna was...

My husband and I stayed here for two nights in January 2017, the hotel is in a great location, less than a two minute walk from Schwedenplatz metro station & less than a ten minute walk to Stephens Cathedral. The hotel is quaint but very clean. My only small bigger would be the abundance of furniture in our hotel room,...

First, the hotel is in a great location. We took the CAT in from the airport and walked about 10 min to get to the hotel from the Vienna Mitte Station. Check in was easy and they have a small elevator to use if you have bags. The room had a queen sized bed along with a single bed off...

Good to see that this hotel continues to be a great place to stay in as we have experienced previously; very helpful staff, great rooms and breakfast. It is in a quiet area near the centre so very convenient to walk to many attractions, near Metro station etc.

For our stay in Vienna, I was looking for a cosy hotel with some Old World charm, in a central location. The answer: Hotel Austria. Rooms of decent size and very comfortable. Clean and safe, close to main tourist attractions, a public transportation hub, food, and a large food store. Check in and check out quick and efficient, and the...

Thank you very much for your nice feedback about staff and rooms. We know it is quite difficult during winter to find the right temperature all guests feel comfortable with. The heat can be regulated directly at each radiator in the room. Kind regards from Vienna Renate
