I recently stayed here in a Studio apartment for a week on a business trip. It was excellent value for money compared to other hotels I considered at the time. It was a ground floor apartment with its own kitchenette. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was large and the kitchen had everything you needed, albeit...

I stayed in this hotel twice. Both times checking in and out was an unpleasant affair due to bizarre rude attitude of staff. This is unfortunate as location is great, hotel is good value and nice breakfast with friendly staff. I will be visiting Vienna often but will stay elsewhere.

A reasonably-priced hotel in a good location for a three day trip to Vienna. By the look of photos on its website, it looked quite stylish. Arrival was somewhat disappointing the hotel facade (not the photo on the website) had a distinctly IBIS-style look, reception - though correct- was very cool throughout the stay, a message (at booking) about food...

Very nice hotel, well appointed and very well situated. The room (in this case an apartment) just just nice. The only issue I had was that the lift was located between floors and I had a very heavy suitcase. The staff are very efficient and the breakfast has a very wide choice of things to eat and drink. It is...

Clean room and comfortable bed. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Shower pressure less than perfect and difficult to regulate heat using the domestic style mixer tap. Breakfast ok, but not a brilliant selection of breads. Bar very limited for Austria - only one beer on tap, and that was Heineken.

Nice and clean rooms. Nice and helpful personnel. Really good situated only 20 minutes walk from the centrum and if you do not like to to walk, metrostation is just beside of you (U bahn) metro. You have 2 stops and one metro change to the centrum. No traffic noises because actual hotell building is situated middle of the old...

Positive: Location was excellent. Very near to city center. Staff is very helpful. Breakfast was average, nothing great (I did not feel it was worth 15 Euros). Value for money in terms of location. Negative: Rooms are old and not really done up. Furniture is very old, smelly. The sofa is so stained, you don't feel like sitting on it....

The hotel is reasonably central, it is very clean, we had a decent sized room which was comfortable and warm. The buffet breakfast may not suit everyone as the only hot food was eggs with scrambled eggs available every day and fried only twice in our six day stay. There was however a wide selection of other things, cereal, fruit,...

I stayed here for a business trip 5 days and felt this hotel is completely overpriced. It is definitely not a 4 star hotel and the service is poor. Me and my colleague felt the bad vibe as soon as we walked in. Te receptionist, a middle aged man and his assistant, a younger girl had very short answers to...

Ok..so the Hotel isn't in the smartest part of the city but it is only yards from the local subway. I stayed for 3 nights which worked out at £70 a night for bed and breakfast, for value this was superb..the room was big and had a kitchenette. The breakfast room was a little cramped but the choice of food...

Staying in Serviten Quarter

Neighborhood Profile
Serviten Quarter
The Serviten Quarter is an inner city neighborhood with many private charms. Popular with French and American expats, Sigmund Freud’s neighborhood boasts his former practice and apartments, now turned into a museum. Stunning Liechtenstein Garden Palace houses the private art collection of Prince Adam of Liechtenstein. Romantic Strudlhofstiege close to the palace is a fantastic photo spot. With their small independent shops and eateries, the main streets of Liechtensteinstrasse, Porzellangasse and Servitengasse reveal much of this area’s character. Peek into baroque Serviten Church, with its richly decorated dome and walls. At the Old Jewish cemetery in Seegasse you can see one of the most precious cemeteries in Europe with tombstones almost 500 years old.
