Great location near a major train station with tram and metro connections to all areas of the city and directly opposite a well stocked supermarket is a huge plus. Pleasant staff, clean rooms, lovely shower. Very satisfying breakfast buffet, with delicious assortment of bread rolls. Our complaint was dark burned bacon, slow refill of scrambled eggs, and fairly long waits in front of both coffee machines. AC was not working at all even when we kept our windows in the room closed, it never kicked in. Had to open them later in order not to suffocate, temperatures were very warm for October. On the huge plus side, we very much appreciated free city transport cards for H Rewards members during our stay. The hotel was full, a good sign of popularity.

Dear Guest, Your detailed feedback is highly appreciated. It is delightful to know that our strategic location, pleasant staff, clean rooms and breakfast buffet were to your liking. The convenience of our guests is indeed a priority for us. We regret to hear about your experience with the air conditioning. We understand that a comfortable room temperature is crucial for an enjoyable stay, especially during unusually warm periods. We also note your comments about the breakfast service. We will strive to make improvements where possible. Thank you for acknowledging the free city transport cards as a positive aspect of your stay. Our aim is to provide a comfortable and convenient experience for our guests, and it's wonderful to know that we were successful in this regard. Thank you again for your balanced and fair review. We hope to welcome you back to our hotel in the future. Best Regards from Vienna, Oliver Constantin Schoppmann General Manager

Excellent hotel. Very close to the central part, you can use metro (2 or 3 stops) or walk nearly 40 minutes. Near hotel you can find all shops with clothes and other staff (but remember all shops on sunday are closed!). Clean and cozy room, all you'll need is here, modern design. Nice level of Wi FI. Also we bought breakfast (different kinds of cheese, meat, eggs, cereals). You can also choose breakfast in the nearby caffe, but in the hotel it’s enough for several hours) Very eazy to get from airport to the hotel, at first train (S7 -5 uero/ CAT – 12 euro), than metro. Don’t forget to validate your ticket (red little boxes). More convenient was to pay by card because machine was not excepting 50 euro). Also I loved a lot the computer near reception, if you need to register for a flight and print you are welcomed.

Room (311) for disabled people. A double room with a not too high bed (a huge advantage for us). The room is simply equipped, without a fridge (although it was listed in the equipment in the booking confirmation data), without a kettle, with two bottles of water (on arrival). Bathroom with a threshold-free shower, with a seat fixed to the wall. Low-slung toilet with handles. The washbasin is quite high suspended. The mirror is hung high. Due to the size, the bathroom and room are more suitable for people with limited mobility (not for people in a wheelchair).
The room is located next to the elevator, which is a plus and a minus (loud conversations of hotel guests)
You can have breakfast at the hotel. Vegetarians and vegans will also find something for themselves.
In the lobby of the hotel you can fill your bottles with water (during the day).
A great advantage of the hotel is the reservation team. If you want to book a room for people with disabilities, please contact him. The room cleaning team did not work well. Maybe these were temporary problems.
There is a parking with space for a disabled person near the hotel. Parking separately paid. A metro station and a train station are close to the hotel.
Would we choose this hotel again? Yes, due to the reservation team and because of the low bed and bathroom.

The checkin was uncomfortable because the receptionist colleague was in a hurry, instructing us in a rather rude tone. He did not take into account the language difficulties. We had to fill out a lot of forms, which I could have done with the computer as we checked in online the day before. To this he said it was completely unnecessary.
After we occupied our rooms, I noticed that twice the amount on the confirmation was deducted from my credit card. I went back and after some deliberation it turned out that they accidentally double-counted the price but they promised return the difference. This has not happened to date.
The price of two breakfasts was credited at check-out for the inconvenience, but this does not compensate for the very bad experience. And that amount is negligible compared to the wrong deduction, which I don’t know when I’ll get back.
The other colleagues were polite.
The hotel is comfortable anyway, breakfast is adequate, but it is very strange that the bar closes at 8 pm. This is not typical of an average bar.

I confirm the accusations of Scot B. The management of IntercityHotel Wien is running a bait and switch scam. IntercityHotel Wien deliberately overbooks to a significant extent and then sends the superfluous guests to Jaz in the City, a dismal hotel located in a dismal location, far away from the 60 tram to Schönbrunn Palace and the Line VAL 1 to the airport. Jaz in the City is especially unsuitable for an elderly couple such as ourselves with limited mobility. After numerous attempts, I finally managed to speak with the manager of IntercityHotel Wien about the 'situation'. He gave no explanation for the switch, offered no apology for the inconvenience and concluded the conversation by shouting, "AND I HOPE I AM DONE WITH YOU NOW!"

Fantastic location. 3 minutes walk to U baan station. A lot of eateries of all kind outside the hotel as well as many other shops. Wide and clean room, so is the bathroom.
Downside - Long queue to the front desk. Check in took ages.
They also gave me a room with connecting door to the next room which disturb my sleep days and night as I could hear the couple in the next room like they are in mine.

Overall we had a very good experience.
We stayed in the family apartment.
The good:
1. Very good value for money
2. Great location with easy access to public transportation
3. Good breakfast
4. Very large and spacious room.
5. Good sound isolation, our room was on a low for facing a busy street and we could hardly hear a sound from the outside.

A few things that could be improved:
1. We arrived late and the sofa bed was not made, we had to ask for sheets and make it ourselves.
2. The wait time for the elevators was often too long.
3. There was mold on the ceiling in the shower.
4. The quality of the pillows was low.
5. The door in the breakfast area was kept open and we could smell the cigarette smoke from outside during breakfast.
6. The room overall seems a little dated and in need of some maintenance.

Good:
The location of the hotel and the fact that it provides local transportation tickets.
Clean rooms and bathroom.
Bad:
Check-in was incredibly long. Unfortunately we had to wait more than half an hour.
Some standard items that should have been in the rooms were missing, for example, tea/coffee maker, slippers, shoe cleaner.

I have just returned from this hotel and I can thoroughly recommend it, While not in the centre, this hotel is steps away from the underground which takes minutes to take you to the main squares. It's spotlessly clean , rooms are compact but with really comfortable beds and great linen. Modern bathroom with shower. Breakfast is continental and also bacon and scrambled or boiled eggs. The staff are pleasant and helpful. There are no coffee making facilities in your room so take a travel kettle if you like the early morning coffee. Plenty of shops and places to eat nearby.

Pros: Nice location and room facilities very good, excellent shower. We got a room on the fourth floor with a view over Mariahilfer Strase, Stumpergasse og Kaiserstrase. Could enjoy the street musicians.

Cons: Breakfast was poor. We normally arrived shortly after 9 AM and there was not much left. After 5 days we gave it up and had breakfast at the Cafe Westend which is nearby. Housekeeping woke us up at 08.30 the last morning which should not be necessary as she should know we were checking out that day.
