Everywhere, stinky stinky stench... I have nothing nice to say about this place. Yes, it's close to the train station. That's nice. Room small, dirty and rude staff. Beautiful city though and made me extend my days to exhaustion for not wanting to return here earlier than necessary

The room was poor and shabby, cold at night and with mold on the walls. In 5 days they never changed towels, we had to beg for toilet paper at least 3 times (thought it was like gold since they seldom provided supplies!) and as an overall review I would also say the place is quite dirty. They also want... More

Where to start? *The rum where in need of renovation like 5 years a go, it where in relay bad condition. *You did hear all of the guests in the rum next to you, you did hear there tv, phone and privet actives. *Windy weather generated a loud noise indoors. *The Wifi where not working for more then one day... Good: Short walking distance to the Belvedere palace. Close to the new train station (but it is not the one that you arrive to by the speed train from the airport). Metro station is nearby. Bad: I have to be honest - I fell for the cheap price. Remember, there is no such thing as free cheese! Feeling like in... More

This hotel is conveniently situated opposite Vienna's main railway station. We booked in here for two nights. After receiving a warm reception we made our way to our room on the second floor. The room, linen and bath towels all had a very strong smell of stale tobacco. The room safe was locked and couldn't be opened. Reception wasn't interested... More

Terrible service and not cleaned. Waited 1/2 hour to get to the room after the check in time. They didn't clean the room, just changed the sheets. I don't recommend....... the only good thing: location is good

We had pretty low expectations because we saw the bad reviews after booking it as an anonymous hotel. We knew we wouldn't be able to sleep in a room facing the street, so we asked for a quiet room and got one. Room is pretty ugly but clean and the bed is comfortable. Staff very nice. Location, near southern train... More

We arrived to Vienna by train, so the location of the hotel was perfect, it is just near Hauptbahnhof Station. The staff - the guys working on reception was very nice and friendly. Beds quite comfortable. Though the room was not very clean, with long black hair everywhere, something wrong with the water, no cold water and no refrigerator in... More

No AC, no fan, couldn't open the window because our "closet" was street level. Asked for another room so I could at least open a window and was insulted. The decor in this place hasn't been updated since the place was built. It looks like the furniture was used on the set of Marcus Wellby, M.D. that's how outdated this... More

Staying in Wieden

Neighborhood Profile
Wieden
The fourth district combines elegant tradition with contemporary style and relaxed living. More than a dozen town palaces and churches such as St. Charles Borromeo have added glamour to a neighborhood known for its traditional retail and crafts shops, taverns, cafés. Wieden is also home to Naschmarkt, Vienna’s largest street market. Many bohemian types have found their way to Wieden: meet them in trendy cafés and bars, shop alongside them for vintage items, enjoy Wien Museum’s and Kunsthalle’s modern temporary exhibitions, and hang out with the bees at Vienna’s most beautiful urban garden, Karlsgarten.
