Thank you Claudia Kammerstaetter for being so incredibly rude. You are clearly in the wrong line of work to treat your customers so terribly. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you enjoy being belittled and treated poorly.
The Savoy Hotel is located in a very safe neighborhood of Vienna. Great location with a metro less the a minute walk from the hotel. Big rooms compared to Europe standards. The shower is separate from the toilet which is a great convenience. Good breakfast...More
This a lovely old hotel, with only forty two rooms. It had an old world charm that was typically European. The bathrooms had beautiful deep tubs for soaking. The only thing I would mention is that there were about twenty stairs that you had to...More
The Savoy is near the Museums Quarter, and there is a metro stop nearby. The rooms are large, comfortable, and quiet, and have air conditioning. Breakfast is good, but the breakfast room is a bit crowded. A great place to stay.
Wouldnt say the most modern of rooms, however was large and spacious, bed was 2 pushed together, blanket throw with 1 pillow per person. Breakfast small, continental style, ladies assisting in breakfast room welcomed you with warmer smiles than reception/concierge. Good location

Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening.
Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.

Hello, indeed there are steps up to the lobby from the street. If you ask at reception for assistance with your luggage the staff will be more than happy to oblige. There was air conditioning in my room and in the breakfast room. The climate at reception and in the stairwell was also comfortably cool.
