The hotel is located on a quiet side street next to the major shopping Mariahilf strasse. Subway station is nearby, the old city centre and museums within walking distance. Across from the hotel there is a supermarket that sells bio food and products. The exterior of the hotel is not particularly notable, but the interior is very beautifully decorated in...

Three of us stayed here for a short break and found the hotel to be ideal for our purposes - the room was clean and tidy, breakfast was fine, staff were very friendly and we were just a short walk from where we wanted to be in Vienna. I would very much recommend this hotel - if you're after a...

A hotel which prides itself on old fashioned service. Very comfortable spacious rooms and spotlessly clean. Comfortable beds, large bathroom with bath . walking distance to shops and tourist attractions.

The hotel is well located: close to the Mariahilfer Strasse shopping area and close to the metro station. Also walking distance from the city center, it'll take you about 20 to 30 mins. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with separate toilet. However, some parts of the room (e.g. closet) may need some refurbishment. The size of the TV is...

I can only confirm the positive views of other travellers. Great location, friendly staff, very clean rooms. The breakfast room is cramped but there is everything you need- allright, no hot food, but it's a very small place. For Christmas they prepared a sweet surprise for all the guests!

This hotel is located nearby the city center and several museums. The rooms are very clean and there is a seperate toilet and bathroom. Breakfast was nice, the room for the restaurant is a little bit small but we could always eat immidiately. Staff is also very friendly. Recommend to view Wien and its christmas markets.

A rare gem in an ideal location in Vienna, within walking distance of everything you could need and within a few minutes walk to two lines of the U-bahn. Rooms have individual character, clear attention to detail and couldn't possibly have been cleaner. The style of interiors was truly impressive and charmingly representative of 'old Vienna'. They also offer above-average...

Given it is a 3 star hotel: Location is superb: You can forget about driving: close to museum quarter, opera house, shopping, you name it. 24/7 reception also helps. Parking is available. Rooms are quite spacious, separate bathroom and toilet- quite convenient for optimizing morning routine;) And now, breakfast. If not this one, I would give hotel 5 stars: there...

Neighborhood Profile
Neubau
Vienna’s art district, Neubau buzzes with galleries, arts and crafts, trendy restaurants, avant-garde shops, and cafés. Neubau’s Spittelberg quarter with cobblestoned Spittelberggasse and Gutenberggasse make for a perfect stroll alongside Biedermeier houses and art shops. Don’t miss the historic courtyard at Amerlinghaus with its typical Pawlatschen galleries, a perfect hangout on a warm summer evening. Museumsquartier is Neubau’s undisputed highlight: the former Imperial stables house various top museums of 19th to 21st century art. If you love interiors, head for the Imperial Furniture museum (Hofmobiliendepot), one of the world’s largest furniture collections. Find your favorites among a dazzling array of Baroque, Biedermeier, Art Nouveau and Modernist chairs, sofas, cupboards, coat hangers, foot stools and wash basins. No weekend visit would be complete without stopping by a local café on a weekend morning for brunch.
