This is the last leg of our 16 day trip…we arrived here from Zurich…The property is pretty big…We got our rooms on our arrival but no information regarding the wifi service or breakfast was shared with us whn they handed us the keys…we are travelling with quite a luggage as we did Switzerland before this…but sadly there was no porter service available…we have stayed at smaller and another Radisson in Lucerne on this same trip and the hotel services were impeccable and the staff were friendly and extra helpful…we are completely disappointed with their service in Vienna…We have booked 2 rooms and sadly both the rooms A/C r not working…and there was an issue with the speaker in the bathroom that was connected to the TV….we called the reception regarding the same and waited for their technician to arrive…no one arrived for 15 mins so I stepped down and showed them a video regarding the TV problem…after that a technician arrived immediately and fixed it….he said there was an issue with the central a/c so all around the hotel the a/c’s r down….I dont think that is the issue as whn we brought it up with at the reception desk he was not aware of it and the a/c was working perfectly fine in the lobby or E level as they call it…the guy at the reception said he wud get bk to us on it and we vent recvd a call since 2 hrs now! Anyway….I dont knw wat else to expect 🙁 but I surely wudnt recommend this hotel to any1! Even tough its Radisson! We have stayed at many Radisson properties in India and abroad but sadly this was our first and hopefully the last such experience with them…
We are family. We spent five days in December. We came on 20 th December, first day after lockdown. We booked via Radisson Hotels website. Make a notice that two twin bads are not two twin bads but two single. So we upgraded for a suite, because we are famiy and our son, 13 years old is very tall, so we need normal bed for him. In suite everything was great! We had a perfect view on Schönbrunn Palace. High level of hygiene. The rooms are cleaned daily. Top quality toiletries. Breakfast was very limited and the same every day even on Christmas morning. There were no Christmas decoration in the hall so the atmosphere was a bit cold. Staff was very helpful, available all the time. We had Covid passports and we did show them on check in. But, after two days, we had to show them before breakfast. It was a bit tense. Underground garage very comfortable, directly connected to the reception. We are very satisfied with the accommodation and service.…
Stayed there while on family trip to Vienna. Hotel was just OK. Breakfast was very limited due to COVID restrictions. Hotel felt tired and lucked character, but again, that could all be due to COVID restrictions, and due to lack of patrons. Great location, next door to museum.
Really a 4 star hotel next to a park. Nice, big rooms, with big windows, you can open them if you want. Everything was very clean. Kind, helpful stuff. Big Garage under the hotel. The restaurant is also great, the wienerschnitzel was delicious!
Stay away from this hotel . I arrived with my friend this morning and checked in, unfortunately only one of our rooms was ready which wasn’t a problem at all as we wanted to visit the city right away. (Check in was about 30 minutes) When we came back at 6.30 pm to pick up my room key I was told the connecting room joined to my friends had technical problems. I was then asked if wanted to pay now wich i said I could do with my friend after a hot bath because of a long day on the road . They then told me they wanted a guarantee (not trusting me ) even tho my friend didn’t need one . This all took another 30 minutes of my day as the first person in line. I then payed right away as I was tired and out of patience. They had already gotten all my info and Coronapas at check in but now wanted it again. When i arrived to the new room it was not the same class as my friends, it did not have a bathtub like my original room had . i called the reception they then told me i couldn’t get the same type room ( no valid explanation). I feel ripped off, badly welcomed I will never come back and I will choose another hotel for my last night. I have worked for the Costes in Paris i know what I’m talking about. This is a 1 star treatment!!!…
We stayed 6 nights during August in a magnificent suite (359) facing the Schönbrunn Palace. This is our second time in this hotel in recent years, and we also have experience with other 4 stat hotels in Vienna. In our opinion this is by far the best option in Vienna, when considering value for money, due the following reasons: (1) Location: adjacent to a beautiful and large park, and only 100 meters to Tram stations (52,60) that take you to Westbahnhof in 8 minutes (IKEA, SportsDirect, and plenty of stores and restaurants) as well as connection to all parts of the city and beyond. You can also easily stroll from the Westbahnhof along the main shopping part of Mariahilferstraße. (2) Facility: the hotel is spotless, lobby is spacious with entrance from a large and quiet garden area, rather than from the busy street. The bar is elegant and the restaurant is spacious, also facing partly the large garden. Breakfast was great with a sufficient selection. (3) Service: the staff is very responsive and helpful. Robert from the front desk was exceptionally helpful and pleasant to talk to. We were given excellent information regarding Covid-19 tests in Vienna that saved us a lot of time and money. We will definitely return to this property. Sincerely, Dr. Amir Adler.…
Stopped at this Radisson during a drive to Eastern Europe. Easy checkin and help, easy access parking not too far from the Vienna ring. Best moment came the morning after when during my morning run I discovered that Schloss Schonbrunn’s garden is open for runners in the early hours of the day. Breakfast needs a bit of a vegetarian / pescatarian / vegan upgrade but other than that to be recommended.
Located outside city center, near Schloss Schönbrunn. Hotel is nice, but somehow inpersonal, maybe also because there were very few guests. Perfect for any conventions however, for touristic stays I would prefer next time something closer downtown. Room was nice, nothing outstanding, a typical room of this hotel chain.
great hotel, we need to get a flight at 3 am and they made breakfast for us (7 people) the rooms are very beautiful and comfortable. they help us to go to the center of the city and discover for me new places in Vienna.
I’m happy with our stay. I’ll start with a few things that weren’t as good. Coffee machine wasn’t working in one of the rooms (we were there in a group of 4, we had 2 rooms). Another thing is that one of the waiters did not spoke english which would not me a problem but in general but when someone has allergies then it can be bothering. Lat bad thing - pizza in the hotel bar was def not worth its price. It tasted like one of these frozen crusts and the waiting time was pretty long. Now to good stuff - employees were wery nice and helpful. The hotel itself looks very modern and rooms were very clean. We also liked the interiors - I saw someone commenting that rooms were ugly - wtf? Impressing lobby, great spacious parking with a lot of parking spots, very nice (and again - very clean) gym area. We were in this hotel during the pandemic so there were plenty of restrictions so breakfast buffet was small but it was enough. It was great to see organic coffee in the coffee maker! …
