The hotel is in a great location, 3-4 mins walk to Mariahilfe strasse, in a quiet side street. Metro is available right on the exit from the street, the Zieglergasse station(U3), which in few minutes can take you to the Inner City or the Westbahnhof metro station(8-10 min walk), where except the U3 and U6, are plenty of trams available for different directions. On the downer side of the street(~5-7 mins walk) on Grumpendorfer Strasse is available the bus 57A, which can take you to the Naschmarkt or to Karlsplatz. What is the best that is out of the main touristic areas in a quiet street and everything is on a walkable distance too, if you prefer to walk. In the metro station is possible to buy 24/48 or 72 hours daily ticket and Vienna has a great and easy public transportation. The hotel is very clean, the staff is helpful and kind. Breakfast was typical European breakfast with pretty big variety and options for each and every guest. Rooms are big in comparison with other European hotels. The price versus what is offered is fair enough. We will probable return if in the future we will travel to Vienna. Also we had an early flight and the breakfast was prepared for us in small bags as take away, included in it sandwiches, fruits and sweets too. Very good service from all point of view. What I disliked, but this is individual for each person and not criticism - The beds are not the most comfortable, but this is specific to each person. Pillows are very soft, we needed to ask extra pillows. Maybe should be added more pillows in the rooms. But this is individual too, what doesn't fit us, maybe fits another person.…
Quiet and confortable. Even if not in centrum historical, it is well placed if you like shopping, else it is close to subway. Correct and complete breakfast. Efficient service and cleaning ok. Rooms on the courtside are better and 7th floor you may have some view
Hotel Anatol is not in a busy street but you're just steps away from the main shopping street in Vienna. The room was spacious, with a sofa and a desk, and beds were confortable. Overall it's an hotel I would consider again when I'm back in Vienna.
Austria Trend Hotel Anatol Wien Vienna My wife and I stayed at the hotel Austria Trend Hotel Anatol Wien in Vienna on Dec 11- 13 2019. The hotel is in a ok location. It was about a 10 or 15 minute walk from the train station with luggage and just a few minutes from one of the main streets leading to the heart of the city. Really the location is good but the area seems to be going downhill. When we checked in we were offered an upgrade for 20 € per night, we accepted and it was a good choice. Our room was 703 and was great! It was very large by European standards and very comfortable by North American standards. We had a couch and mini bar. The room was very clean and was always kept in order. There was nothing in need of repair or showing its age.
Cannot fault the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. All areas of the hotel very clean. Rooms cleaned very well. Good night’s sleep. Close to transport options, cafes shops and bars. Would definitely recommend.
This hotel is very clean and good . The staff was kind and helpful. bed very comfortable and good. Breakfast is ok. I like it . But our towels don’t change evry day . closet is big. I think this hotel is very good but i should tell you thos hod
The hotel is in very good location, close to Maria Hilfer pedestrian street and U Bahn. Reception staff was very pleasant and helpful. Room is cosy, medium size, bathroom quite small. No coffee/tea facilities, which is surprising in a 4-star hotel.
I really liked this hotel. Entrance is very clean with courteous staff. My walking tour guide said Vienna has the cleanest water in the world and we should fill our water bottles at our hotel so that we don't end up paying ridiculous amount of money for a bottle of water. This hotel has two types of water at no cost. One with fruits and the other just plain. Breakfast was the only downside with not many selections. If planning on walking back to the hotel from the tour of the city.... stop yourself and grab any form of transportation as long incline streets are unavoidable.
Very hard to fault this place. Bright, clean, great breakfast, really helpful and attentive staff, perfect location for strolling into the city centre (25 minutes gentle walk) quiet, good clientele, excellent in every respect for what we wanted.
Had a great couple of days in this hotel. It is located just off a shopping street in Vienna and a few mins walk from the metro which gives you access to all the sights of Vienna. I recommend you purchase the day/48/72 hr tickets from the OBB app. Plenty of restuarants about too. Hotel is very nice, spacious rooms and very comfortable. Affordable option for a short visit
