Very nice hotel with an old world charm within walking distance of most of the sights. One needs to walk to offset all the eating so even a long walk to the Belvedere is doable.

We didn't eat breakfast in the hotel as there are so many different places nearby to have a different breakfast every day. Sorry, can't help.

Where is the best place in viena with light music
We went to a concert across the road from Hotel de France, it was in the Borse, stock exchange, i'd recommend it. We booked it at a stall outside the Opera House in town

"Not Room 114"
"Room 424 was wonderful, two single beds. Bathroom with two sinks, shower and bath. Toiltet separate."
"The hotel seems to be generally quiet. We were on fifth floor and it was quiet as a church."
"Rooms on 6th floor have a good view, but it's just below the roof so it heats up more"
"Ask at the front desk, we were a large group and all rooms were pre-booked."
