It was my first trip to Vienna and loved the centrally located Mercure Wien Zentrum. You can walk to all the main attractions and have plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. Even a Starbucks was less than a block away. Staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing that we were not used to is the queen bed that is...

Using advice from the hotel, we got the bus which was waiting outside the airport and it took us (for €8 each) to within two minutes walking distance to the hotel. Hotel staff were very welcoming and offered advice including where to find the best Christmas markets which was very helpful. Our room was very clean and well presented and...

My husband and I spent 4 nights at the Mercure Wien Zentrum. The location could not be better. The staff was extremely helpful. We had a priority room and had no complaints. We especially enjoyed the large breakfast buffet.

As other have posted photos of the construction work going on opposite the Wein Zentrum hotel. Remember its not worth having a room on the front of this hotel as the construction work started at 6.30am every day we were there and woke us up. the double glazing did not stop the noise entering the room to a point were...

This hotel is ideally located with the historical centre nearby on foot. There are also the tram, underground and airport bus within a few hundred metres. It is in a dynamic area surrounded by restaurants, bars & shops but as it is on a side street remains calm and peaceful. The rooms are clean, comfortable and a reasonable size. The staff...

It is very well-located in the city centre, just next to Ringstrasse. Multiple shops, tourist spots and restaurants are at a few minutes walkable distance. People were quite hospitable and the hotel is quite beautiful, but the rooms are quite small, even as per European standards. And so is the restaurant. Rest was all nice.

Well, just a perfect hotel from all points of view. The location is nice: 5 minutes walking time from the central square and the pedestrian street but not exactly there that keeps you away from the noisy tourists. The rooms are not too big but well planned and equipped to feel yourself very comfortable. The bed is same comfortable as...

It is well-located in the city centre ( Innere Stadt ). Many shops, restaurants and tourist spots (e.g. Dom) are nearby. Many places are just within 5-15 min walking distance. The hotel is fabulously located and the staff was very accommodating. It's a close walk to almost everything. And there are many great restaurants in the area. Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
