The location of this hotel really can't be beat. Steps away from the shops and restaurants of Kärntner Strasse, the metro, St. Stephen's Cathedral, and even a short walk to the Opera. Staff were also friendly and helpful. The room was a great disappointment. Bed had one side pushed up against the wall, which is fine, except that meant there... More

Dear Guest, thank you for your comments - we appreciate to know about your impressions and are very sorry that you were not fully satisfied with your stay at our hotel. Our classic rooms are indeed efficiently sized rooms which offer a stay right in the center of Vienna at a very attractive rate, of course our hotel offers also... More

We stayed in Europa hotel for 5 days in December. Besides the fact that Vienna is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, this hotel is the perfect hotel to stay during the visit there. The location is the best you can get, the rooms are great and clean (we stayed at an executive room which was huge), the... More

We stayed here for three nights as a city break. The location is excellent and from the airport really easy to get to using the city airport train costing €12 to landstrasse and a further €2 and few stops from landstrasse to stephenplatz where the hotel is located only 5 mins walk away. You can easily walk to hofburg palace,... More

Standard room that you would expect in the heart of a capital city. Not very large but decent in amenities. Breakfast is good. The taxi stand is next to the hotel which is very useful too. Metro stations walking distance. Location is a plus and so is the price.

A very good hotel in the center of Vienna. We stay 4 nights. Our room was well maintained and clean. Everything was around shops, restaurants and museums. I like shopping and all I need were near the hotel. We stay at a executive room and we had all the day coffee or snacks in one quite ambient in the hotel.... More

The hotel seemed to be out of the way on first impression, however we noticed it was probably about 15 minutes walk to the town if I you know the short cuts. Still not the best location for a freezing evening. Reception staff were nice and helpful. The room itself was adequate, however the beds were very uncomfortable and left... More

This hotel is in an excellent location, central for shopping and attractions. We booked 12 executive rooms but were surprised by the difference in sizes between the rooms - all were the same price but some were extremely smaller than others - the rooms with both a bath and shower seemed the biggest. The hotel was extremely hot even in... More

I first stayed here in the early 1990's on business. I liked its central position and its simple but modern interior. I came back in 2009 with my son and daughter in law for a short break. This year again for a short break. Each time it has improved. Comfortable rooms, lovely staff. Excellent.

Stayed 6 nights in an Executive room in mid-November. Great hotel with friendly, efficient staff who always managed to service our room when we went for breakfast - even though this was at odd times. Only managed to have the hotel breakfast twice as we got up very late (breakfast finishes at 10.30), and it was fine with a good... More

The hotel is located very close to Stephansplatz, extremely central, close to everything worth visiting or for taking the Utrain (underground) to. The room was very nice (we stayed in the "Executive" section), well appointed and clean. Free WiFi in the room. The breakfast they offer is very good, nice variety and pleasant service. The service we received from the... More

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
