I visited this hotel when I was a student in 1966. Aside from all of the usual reviews, this place has some history. I believe the Bristol was USSR headquarters during the post WWII occupation. They had BBQed pigs in the main lobby at the...More
Old fashioned elegant and luxurious service and rooms. Beautifully refurbished, rooms, staff friendly and efficient. Nothing is too difficult or problem too hard. Concierge friendly and most helpful. We are here for 5 days, enjoyIng every moment.

We arrived in June in a visit weekend in town. Our room was ready earlier than check in and we were able to have a snack and the restaurant near the lobby. The decor on the hotel is old fashion yet it all looks nice...More
Great location, beautiful lobby, and historic. The bathroom off the lobby is alone worth a visit. Rooms are large and decor is traditional, but not in an old musty way. Ask for a room facing the Opera house.
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The
Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.

thank you for your interest in the Hotel Bristol Vienna. There is no Club Lounge similar to Ritz Carlton at the Hotel Bristol. What we do have is an American Bar and the "Bristol Lounge" - a modern All-Day-Dining-Restaurant with historical ambience. The bar and the restaurant invite its guests in cozy and exquisite atmosphere to stay. Furthermore we have a Business Center, located on the 5th floor and equipped with computers and printers - available free of charge and 24 hours a day. Free Wifi is provided in the entire property.
