I have stayed in this hotel many times. Every time is perfect. The staff at Bristol seem to anticipate the need of the guests. Moreover, I feel that th reception desk is empowered to make decisions on how to improve the experience of the guests without haven't to do a lot of back and forth escalations. This sets the Bristol...

This is the seventh year my wife & I have returned to the Bristol. As Starwood Gold they have always upgraded us to a wonderful room. The staff is so professional, the location can not be beat and there is a reason why the hotel will celebrate 100 years at this location in June 2017.

During a recent visit to Vienna, we had the pleasure of staying at the Bristol. From the moment we walked through the doors, we loved it. The front desk team was warm, friendly and welcoming. They went out of their way to ensure that we knew about all the hotel amenities and that we got the best room possible. Our...

Fantastic location, great hotel rooms, great service and a very relaxing stay. The rooms on the higher floors have a great view. The hotel is within walking distance of most of the sites. The staff makes you feel at home, and the elevator has seats!

Built in late nineteenth century for the aristocracy, the Bristol has lost little of its elegance. Giant rooms, four closets, faux marble everywhere, endless bathroom space and counters, full of history as government leaders and famous entertainers frequented here, across the street from the Opera. What more could you need?

Only stayed for 2 days but this was such a good location for the opera, the nachmarket, the state park, the berg hoff, and of course St. Stephens. Also mozarts house. Great location, and great service while you aren't out exploring!

This hotel has been around since 1892. The moment you step into the lobby you feel the history and charm springing from every corner. The dark wood paneled bar, the ornate woodwork, seats built into the elevator - I could go on. Exceptional service was provided by the friendly and helpful front desk staff. The knowledgeable concierge got us tickets...

I had stayed at this hotel about 7 years ago. It had been renovated with a much better reception area than most similar hotels in Vienna. The room I had was rather small but well kept. The best part of the stay was the breakfast, which is surprisingly great and a good spread compared to other hotels in Vienna. The...

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
