If you appreciate a completely stress free stay - this is your place. The staff is “old world” tentative in the best sense - everyone is exceptionally nice and eager to make your stay as comfortable as possible without being intrusive in any way. The food in the Cafe and the excellent Opus restaurant was actually so good that we did not even bother to venture out for dinner elsewhere. The cakes on offer in the cafe are a temptation one can not and should not resist - because they are simply fantastic. Everything is in walking distance - from the opera basically across the street to the Musikverein just next door to the numerous museums close by and the downtown shopping areas. And the bar is a great place to wind down after a busy day. That the building has all the attributes of an old palace without the shortcomings is surprising and completing the experience. We will definitely stay in the Imperial again - why bother to look elsewhere? …
This was an excellent hotel. We stayed for the 150th anniversary - apparently many of the hotels were built for the Vienna World's Fair so were celebrating this milestone. We can't imagine a better one - two adjoining beautiful rooms with the best beds and linens one could imagine. Pristine marble bathrooms with separate tub, turn down service with delicious chocolate and great breakfast. Would come to Vienna again just to stay here.
This was our second stay at the Hotel Imperial. Staying there is a grand experience like no other. The property exudes both the highest class and charm. And the staff REALLY REALLY genuinely and sincerely goes to great lengths to make their guests feel welcomed. The breakfast buffet is like no other. Special thanks to Ms. Ruth Malaev in reservations and to Ms, Claudia Steinmetz and Mr. Manfred Grassauer of the concierge desk who help and assist the guests in every manner possible. They are the gold standard of concierge services. The pleasure was all ours. We hope to stay there again.
From check in to check out everything was great. The hotel itself is marvelous and the entire staff are incredible. The front desk, concierge, housekeeping and bar staff truly made the stay better. The location, room, and hotel service were all perfect. Personally a favorite of mine.
Our stay at Hotel Imperial Vienna was one of the best first-visits to a city I can remember. We had only two nights there and the hotel made sure we had an amazing experience without losing any time. A beautiful upgraded suite was ready and waiting for us at our (early) arrival hour, and Concierge Raphael had taken note of our interests and produced for us two prime seats to that night’s sold-out opera, bravo! Each aspect of the hotel’s service was of the highest standard with an extra level of genuinely warm and friendly and proactive hospitality that one doesn’t always encounter in hotels of the ‘grand’ genre. The Imperial’s location, standard of luxury and opulent historical Viennese atmosphere left a wonderful first impression. Most everything about Vienna exceeded our expectations, but having the Imperial as our home base put the marzipan on our cake.. we can’t wait to return, and know exactly where we’ll stay.…
This is a wow Place .. We Booked in 2019 and the Hotel still Honoured the booking in February 2023. I stayed 1 x extra night and they still honoured the 2019 price, that shows this Hotels Class . Gregory and Miroslav the concierges are exceptional. Its classy and classy with a touch of more class.. The rooms are Modern Regal and roomy, Its an Ideal location within 15-20mins of a nice walk of all the major Location's 5 mins in a Taxi or Tram ride .. We will definitely return
Here's a list of good points: Location Street view Ambiance Lovely big colourful room Great room temps Water pressure and temperature King size bed was really comfy Pillows were great Nice and quiet room Negatives TV was old and didn't work properly. After reporting TV was fixed but still showed only 50 odd standard cable channels. No movies, no netflix login etc. No USB ports for charging devices No plug points near the bed Weird headboard which made sitting up watch broken TV uncomfy Reception/butler rarely available on phone, probably called 20+ times (always engaged) to get answered twice. Toiletries weren't replenished over the weekend. One small bottle of shampoo/conditioner/shower gel between two people? Shower incorrectly positioned which meant you either had to flood the bathroom or shower shaped like Gollum. Room looked a bit bare, I guess the rugs got removed for CoViD and never replaced... Broken blackout (electronic) blinds (though curtains worked well) Entrance to hotel is "broken" so side doors are ridiculous as they involve queuing and a heavy door. Cafe breakfast seemed average when I checked it out.…
this is a beautiful palatial hotel, the staff are really nice, and hotel was spotless clean. the location was really good and within walking distance of the train and all the major tourist attractions, we would highly recommend this hotel.
We decided to visit the Imperial as part of my wife’s 50 h birthday celebration , impeccable best describes our experience. From front of house to restaurant including breakfast and dinner it was faultless . Special mention , the senior concierge gave my son and I a tour of the building and it’s history thank you Manfred . We look forward to our next visit !
The service was wonderful and the suite itself was so luxurious. Quality of bed linen and cushions was fantastic. We also made use of the cafe and room service. Both excellent with very high quality food.
