We attended an event at Vienna Hofburg amd needed a nearby hotel for easy return at night. The Radisson Blue Palais Vienna is the perfect match for all who appreciate walking distance to the major attractions, shopping and sights and who wish to stay in a stylish hotel. the rooms (we booked a standard room) are carefully designed, with high... Amazing hotel. We had a duplex room with a great view, nicely decorated . Really georgeous like you stay in a palace. Breakfast is very good. Service is excellent. Highly recommended. It's located in the heart of Vienna, close to all the sightseeing points, restaurants and shops.

I have used this hotel since my working days way back in 1990 when it was a SAS Hotel. Since then we have used it again and again as we love visiting Vienna, the operas and the early opening of the Christmas season. So far I have been told that the lovely hotel is closed. So we booked 100 m... More

We stayed here for three nights at Euro 110 per room per night for a couple. This is a 5 star hotel, very conveniently located walking distance from the center of town. There are lots of shops and restaurants in the vicinity and the Metro station, tram and bus is walking distance from the hotel. The hotel is across from... More

Stayed 3 nights for business-trip, room was paid by the company, still EUR560 were blocked on my cards while I was said that is only a verification. Vienna usually boasts tremendous breakfast with choice for very demanding eater - this hotel is not an exception as well! Rooms are not very spacious, some of them have windows opening to inner... Vienna is most definitely a place to visit, and for a location with perfect service and clean rooms, this would be my choice. I have stayed here twice and will again. Metro is very close, downtown restaurants and bars all walking distance. recommend

The hotel is very clean with nice staff, spacious rooms. The area around the hotel is amazing as it is just 5 mms walking distance from downtown with a very nice park just across the road. I went there for a conference and the amneties were very good. breakfast is poor

I stayed two nights at standard room for Christmas shopping Vienna plan. The rate looks reasonable in the prestigious and location. The plan includes Breakfast Buffet, Free minibar (1 refill per day), Free highspeed internet access, and Sweet Christmas surprise from Vienna. It was a small package of stollen. I was assigned the room facing to the park as I... More

Staying in Inner City

Neighborhood Profile
Inner City
In Vienna's best-known district, pedestrian boulevards Kärntner Strasse and Graben connect you with landmarks such as the Wiener Staatsoper (Vienna State Opera), Vienna’s iconic Stephansdom (St. Stephen’s Cathedral) and the vast compound of Hofburg, the Habsburgs’ former Imperial Palace. Peek down side streets such as Annagasse and Weihburggasse, and Graben’s Seilergasse and Habsburggasse, to get a feel for the center. The Imperial Apartments and the refreshingly demystifying Sissi Museum are must-dos at Hofburg. Spacious squares such as Am Hof and Freyung often host beautiful seasonal and antiques markets.
