We have booked Max Brown Hotel for our company meeting. The team in Vienna was extremely helpful and welcoming. The dinner was also very tasty. The overall experience was great!! I would recommend it for the company events as well as for the individual travellers.
Oustanding. Immaculately clean with extremely comfortable, beautifully furnished rooms. The location is excellent: in a quiet street but with easy, fast connections to the very centre of the city in a few minutes. Most of all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially the wonderful Christopher who greeted us at reception on arrival!
Amazing hotel. The staff was very kind, nice, lovely people. The rooms are pretty big. The mattress is firm and for us it was great. The design of the hotel is stuning. Public transportation, is about 2-3 minutes walking. We took room without breakfast because we're ate at cafe's around the hotel Really recommend hotel!
City Trip in Vienna. This hotel received good reviews and good location to visit the city. Rooms are spacious and clean. Interior is very nice. Bathroom looks nice, but with flaws. Shower is weak. Breakfast is decent not a lot of choice but good. Issue here is that the kitchen/restaurant area smells burned. During our visit the fire alarm went off (false alarm) but took over 30 minutes to shut down. Another thing is the heat. It was very very hot in the room. But the aircon was not working.
Such a warm welcome and it continued throughout our stay - spacious, luxurious rooms, comfortable large beds and spotlessly clean. Restaurant is highly recommended- we had a gorgeous meal with family - food was delicious and service excellent. We will definitely be back
We had an amazing time in Max Brown. The location is great. You can walk to the center. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the restaurant...so good. Next time we hope we can have breakfast at the hotel...We'll be back!
Fancy hotel, which I recommend especially for those who love modern art, design, colours and want to experience Vienna also from another point of view. I appreciated the location near the City centre but not so busy and on the other hand still full of fancy cafes, art and design shops...sort of art district. The staff was very nice, rooms absolutely clean. The ONLY thing I missed was lack of storage space (no closet etc).
From the moment we walked in the we got good vibes. The rooms were cozy and clean. On the 30 minute walk to the city center we passed by so many unique shops and cafes. It’s in the perfect location and we slept like babies. The restaurant at the hotel is fabulous. A special shout out to Michael at the front desk. He’s the best!
Clean rooms, cool design but sadly it ends there. We chose this hotel as we wanted the personal experience of a smaller hotel chain. Sadly, while the design and some features are ‚cool‘, the staff are decidedly ‚too cool‘. No information provided at check in. You have to ask for everything - sometimes more than once. You want your room cleaned? You have to ask. You want a drink at the (empty) bar? They have to check with the manager if that’s ok. You want the welcome drink included in your booking? You have to ask. (‚Ah yes, that usually gets forgotten‘) And so on. Rooms missing some basics for a 4* - no coffee maker, no fridge. Record player a nice touch, but didn’t work. Breakfast is down right embarrassing. The waitress on the first two mornings was lovely and doing her best, but had far too much to do by herself. As seems to be the norm here, there was a manager strutting around with a laptop under his arm, doing everything apart from engaging with guests or helping the team. The same managers help themselves to espresso from a proper machine while guests have to serve themselves from an automated machine. Lots of items unavailable or run out. But then served to the table next to you… At peak checkout time, the receptionist was standing out front of the hotel on his phone smoking while other guests and ourselves were waiting. The arrogant behaviour of the managers has clearly trickled down through the team. To add insult to injury, they offer heavily discounted rates to those who have eaten in the restaurant. For similar design values but better service and better value, stick with the likes of Motel One.…
