Everything is perfect. Especially the staff is very helpful. It'.s a very good modern hotel. The price is reasonable considering the location and the facilities offered. Hotel WiFi in the room did not work properly.

Amazing hotel located centrally in Vienna, rooms and toilets are small, but that's what you get in a centrally located hotel in Europe, no complaints, excellent breakfast in the morning, had a great stay of 3 nights

Our stay at this hotel was pleasent, except the room was a little small for a 4 stars hotel and a little cold. Also the bathroom was small and you could hear noise from the other rooms. Wardrobe does not have doors but closes with a curtain. It wasn`t a bad hotel, but definitely not what i`ve expected from a... More

Love the design and colour combination of the room. Comfortable and guest friendly room and bathroom. Staffs are helpful and efficient. Cozy and happy staying here! Conveniently nearby the tram line and there are lots of cafe and restaurants around.

Stayed 3 nights. Hotel had all standard amenities. The location is not ideal because it was tram ride to downtown, but the tram is just a short walk from the hotel. They had herring and liver pate for breakfast - great. Staff was good and friendly.

We were pleasantly surprised by this hotel. We booked the cost saver Trafalgar Imperial Highlights tour and all the hotels were excellent. This was more modern and felt like we were in the US. The rooms were for 2 persons per room but we made it work with rooms next door to each other. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel was sparkling clean. Staff very helpful. Beds comfy. Fridge in room and a grocery store next door, if you want to save money on food. It was hot the few days we were in vienna, and it did not quite get as cool in our room as we would have liked. Buts that's likely not a problem most... More

The hotel is located in the outskirts of Vienna, I found the neighbourhood not terrible, hard to say it was the Vienna I knew or any other province city. The street were the hotel is located is quite noisy, I wanted to open the windows but the street noise was really unbearable (especially because of the tram that passes). For... More

I chose this hotel because it was reasonably priced and located close to public transportation. The hotel is easily accessible by public transport from the airport and/or all train stations. I was able to stay within my budget and explore Vienna with ease for my 2-day stay. The tram is located a few blocks away for quick access into the... More

Hotel Senator is located near the tram going to Stephenplatz. Very convenient. Not centrally located but transportation is close by so their is no problem at all. They do not have any water kettle in the room but you can ask for hot water in the front desk. Very helphul front desk people. All in all we were happy with... More

Staying in Ottakring

Neighborhood Profile
Ottakring
The production site of popular Ottakringer beer brews up an exciting mix of working and middle class suburbs, Balkanese immigrant lifestyles, and lush patches of hilly woodland. The recently gentrified area around Yppenplatz and Brunnenmarkt boasts hip cafés and bars next to South East European delicacies at Brunnenmarkt street market. The dynamics of Ottakring become most apparent at its vibrant high street Ottakringer Strasse. At the top end you can feast on wine and local food in Austria’s oldest wine tavern 10er Marie. The wines are from the tavern’s own urban vineyards. Before you head upwards, make sure you pay a visit to the historic courtyards between Lerchenfelder Gürtel and Hippgasse. When locals visit Ottakring’s hilly green outskirts on the weekends they either climb up 31 meters of Jubiläumswarte viewing tower on Gallitzinberg, have a succulent Wiener Schnitzel at Villa Aurora, or reward their hiking exertions around Wilhelminenberg with a drink and a view from Wilhelminenberg Palace (now a hotel and restaurant).
