For a hotel next to an exhibition center (right across the street) really a positive surprise. Very modern and nicely furnished rooms, nice bathrooms and all very clean. Service at check-in nice and friendly, at the bar a bit slow. Indeed not too much touristic things around, except the Prater which is a 10min walk. Else you have the subway... More

This is a standard well run business hotel in the mess area of Vienna, My room was exactly as expected, clean, OK bed, maybe a little hard "like my bed soft" No minibar but they have what you need in a small reception shop. We had dinner the first evening, Wiener Schnitzel and local beer, a really big portion, to... More

I booked this hotel for business travel because it was near my office there, but it is very far from city centre. Elegant, comfortable, and great service. Breakfast was also good. A little expensive to have any drink or some kind of meal. But in general excelent

The location is excellent- away from the busy downtown. The subway is just 30 meters away. The area is newly constructed, modern, contemporary. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The staff- nice. Wifi- FOC. It is not cheap but very good value for money. The BUT is we needed a baby bed- we mentioned it twice in the reservation,... More

Very nice hotel with clean and nice rooms, free WIFI and very near to the metro station (U2 Trabrenngasse) that makes it easy to get to the city center quickly. The breakfast is perfect and the service staff us very friendly.

Excellent location. Messe metro station is next to this hotel Take a metro to historical city center by around 15 minutes (4-6 stations). Room is very spacious and clean. Bed is comfortable. Staff is friendly and professional. A standard 4-stars business hotel.

Courteous and efficient staff during check in. But interestingly when i called to say that WiFi didn work in hotel room, she asked me to come down to get a new password; only after some discussion did she agree to come and check. And she only came up after almost 30mins. Thank goodness this was in the evenings and not... More

Excellent hotel. Nothing to complain about. The room was very comfortable, quiet and large. The staff was efficient and friendly. The restaurant offers a large enough choice of dishes at reasonable prices. The location is ideal for business or to go the city centre as the metro is only 5 minutes away. Just brilliant!

Courtyard Wien Masse is a newly built property with contemporary design and trendy stylish lobby. We asked for early checkin which as not only granted but was a breeze in early hours before 7 am. thanks a lot for this. We arrived by bike having cycled the Danube from Passau. Easily accessible by cycle track along river bank and through park. Excellent service, room, and food. Some distance from city centre. Metro Station 2 mins walk. Excellent secure underground car parking albeit st usual city prices.

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighborhood Profile
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city center and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theaters, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
