It was a nice room, but I was not very impressed with the fact that I was given instant coffee in the room, along with only 1 small soap along with 1 small bottle of shampoo, conditioner and body wash. In every other Marriott I've stayed in I've had plenty of soaps, and most come with a proper coffee maker... More

Very clean and modern hotel with a good location to the huge Prater park. Metro stop next door. What made the hotel special is the amazing gym at the top floor, one of the best hotel gyms I've seen, with a PT available. The rooms are large and comfortable, wifi works well and the reception staff are friendly and helpful.... More

Large room with comfortable king size bed, very friendly staff. Breakfast is 20€ per person but worth a try. We also had dinner one evening, which was quite good, the waiters very helpful. Metro station close to the hotel. Prater amusement park at a 10 minute walk, or two subway stops. Free Wi-Fi as well, which is important!

Was surprised by the cleanliness and the size of the room. A grateful chang from the overly small rooms in the Hilto Garden in in Florence. Limited menu in the dining facility. One of the best included breakfasts that I have experienced in eight different hotels in Europe. Of course comparing to no included breakfast at the Hilton properties in... More

If you're in Vienna to attend some acitivity in Messe, the hotel is in a convenient location. Even if you have nothing to do with Messe, it's close to a metro station and can visit all the tourist attractions easily and cheaply. The room is clean and beds are very comfortable. The only problem occurred when I tried to mail... More

The hotel location is right next to the metro, so very convenient. There isn't much around here, but the rooms are very comfortable and water pressure is really good. I'm currently staying at this hotel. My parents booked a room for me yesterday, as I arrived a day later than the rest of my family. Unfortunately, my key card wasn't... More

This hotel is located at the outskirts of town, but only 3 minutes walk from a very reliable metro line that will take you to the centre in 15 minutes. Close location to Prater is also a bonus. Rooms are spacious, with free internet and very comfortable.

The hotel is located away from the city centre. It is a few train stations away from the city centre. It is safe. The breakfast is good. The room is quite large and very clean. We got a view of the front side of the hotel. There were a few restaurants nearby to eat in but not much to see... More

Staying in Leopoldstadt

Neighborhood Profile
Leopoldstadt
Welcome to one of Vienna’s trendiest quarters. The second district has witnessed a turbulent ride, from medieval swamp to vibrant Jewish quarter, from pleasure ground for the noble and humble to current hip residence and workplace of Vienna’s creative crowd. Cross the Danube Canal from the city center and take in life on Taborstrasse with its mix of old townhouses, churches, theaters, discount shops and ethnic restaurants. Head for Augarten via Karmelitermarkt, Leopoldstadt’s trendy marketplace. Baroque Augarten itself hosts a bizarre mix of manicured hedges and flowerbeds in front of a colossal World War II defense tower, the publicly accessible 300-year-old Augarten porcelain manufactory, the palatial boarding school and funky concert hall of the Vienna Boys Choir, and the modern art museum TBA21. At its opposite corner, The Prater not only houses the Giant Ferris Wheel but blends a bustling amusement park with lush woodland, perfect for a bike tour. Further east is the old derby racing ground of Krieau.
