Location was in the middle of everything, McDonald’s across the street, a big supermarket across the other street and many huge malls and nice restaurant a walking distance far. Staff were super helpful, friendly, flexible and understanding My room was on second floor, i had no air condition but i had a nice fan ( a little bit noisy ) it was super hot so i had to keep windows open all time, and it felt like im sleeping in the street because of the too much noise. Old furniture and very basic room & bathroom.
Good price for a good hotel .Near railway station ,you can go everywhere in some minutes.Close to a supermarket too.Rooms are clean, toilet too. View is nice and there is no noise to bother you.I would book it again
spent a night there, unfortunately, I didn't like it at all, the room was basic furnished, no fridge or kettle, soap was very poor quality, towels smelled and the heating was very high. it's okay if you don't mind and just want to crash for the night and don't pay a lot.
I liked the room - quiet, warm, clean. Calm atmosphere, friendly staff, convenient proximity to a large supermarket. I really liked the breakfast, it was varied and there was a machine that made cute small and delicious pancakes.
We stayed during the week in early October. Our room on the 4th floor was simply furnished. It was quiet and had a nice view of the river. I did not find the bed comfortable. No fridge or room safe. CNN was available on a small TV. Wifi worked fine although it was slower in the evening. Bathroom was fine with good shower. We arrived around noon and the parking lot was mostly empty so we had no issues parking but as others have noted the lot is small and was in fact full when we checked out. The walk to the Alte Donau metro station on the M1 is about 8 minutes. The Billa supermarket across the street is very convenient. There is a McDonald’s across the street as well and a shopping mall within walking distance. I would rate the hotel 3.5.
Spent a night there. Great breakfast. A very small single room but all was fine. Very clean. The U1 was nearby, just over the bridge. Easy access to the city center. Directly to the Stephans Platz. Would come again. Close to the Prater.A fridge was missed. Friendly staff.
This hotel is clean, inexpensive and friendly. Like one reviewer below, I was affected by the hot water outage, which lasted less than one day, but the reception staff gave me a free breakfast voucher and I was happy. By the evening of April 1 the hot water was working again. It's the second time I have come here. Nothing smells of smoke any more; there is a separate smoking room off the reception area and smoking in the bedrooms is not allowed. The breakfast was good and I was given, as I requested, a quiet room facing the courtyard and the river. There's a supermarket and a McDonalds just over the road. Metro station close by. Within walking distance of VIC. Very happy with my stay.
We were staying there from March 29 to April 1, 2019. Hotel is very nice, and on good location, on the metro line U1, 5-10min to centre. Breakfast is delicious. Rooms are clean, and hotel staff were cleaning room every day. So I have only a good words for that. But... it happened a big failure. We have hot water only first day when we came in room, and by the end of the stay we did not have it. They didn't solve the problem. I think that hotel must be prepared for this unpredictable situations, still it's about hot water that is necessary.
Very basic hotel rooms. Clean, yet did smell slightly of smoke. Food was ok and edible. Directly opposite a McDonalds. A nice park about 10mins walk away. Would stay again if I wasn’t planning on spending much time in my hotel room and needed a no frills option.
I stayed in this hotel for a night. I can say this is tourist hotel, and it is not a suitable for business needs - the street noise starts at 05:30 and all street rooms are very affected. The breakfast is at average level, but this is normal for such type of hotel. The room have a basic furniture for a 3 stars hotel. The cleanness was at normal level with some dirty missed spots in the bathroom. The location of the hotel is for me not good - too far (walking dist.) from the city center. The nearest U-bahn station is on 5min walk (U1), the tram station is just in front the hotel but I am not sure where this tram goes.
