Seven adults and seven children aged 7 to 14, from three generations spent a happy week celebrating our golden wedding. Lovely English speaking owners so helpful, altering beds to suit, providing fire lighters for a reluctant BBQ , booking best local restaurant for our celebration meal and even arranging taxis to bring us back! Children loved the pool and table... More

A week away with the wife and ten other MG owners , 6 cars both old and new. Had seen the property online and on google maps , it looked just right, hard to find places to take so many people. Owners great and very friendly and they also cooked us all a meal on the second night ( sunday... More

Le Manoir has the most charming appeal. Built in the 15th century it has been lovingly updated by Mauro and Alison. The facilities are fantastic and the village is but a five minute walk away. The Village has the usual facilities including a vets practice. The local supermarket can supply every thing needed and the boulangerie is excellent. Restaurants in... More

Had a delightful holiday here with 2 other families (6 adults, 5 kids), and it was just brilliant. Oodles of space, inside and out, wonderful atmosphere, and made to feel completely at home by Alison and her family (whose catering was also fantastic). Ideally placed to explore one of they nicest bits of Brittany, an hour and a half from... More

The Manoir is a beautiful and very old manor house just outside a small village in northern Brittany. It is about 1.5 hours from StMalo ferry terminal and an easy drive - we found it very easily. The village is quiet and pretty with a large store (huit a huit), a newsagents, pharmacist, vet and most importantly, a bakery. Our... More

I travelled around Brittany with some of my Irish in-laws (I am a Breton girl and wanted to show them around Beautiful Brittany!) and this is the place we enjoyed the most. We were welcomed like true friends in this idyllic manor by Alison and her husband. It is ideally located as a central place from where to go and... More

We are a family of 4. Our two young girls were instantly attracted by the numerous animals that are blessed to share the vast grounds of the manoir. Such a genuinely warm family, Mauro and Alison are lovely hosts. We loved the table d'hotes. Great food and wine and a great mix of nationalities were mingled sensitively and with an... More

Great tips about what to do in the area. Copious breakfasts with unusual homemade jam - especially the pumpkin. Convivial evening meals with the log fire burning. Great family memories

So many choices! Each morning at breakfast, over delicious croissant and coffee, we debated the options - walking or cycling in the beautiful countryside around the manoir, rummaging in the antiques shops in Pontrieux, dipping our toes in the sea less than five miles away on the gorgeous north Brittany coast, or just relaxing on the estate simply sitting and...
