Hotel Maria Theresia made our holiday. The hotel was well located for the town, cable cars, buses and train station. It was spotlessly clean, the staff were excellent and very attentive and the buffet breakfasts and 4 course evening meals were delicious and varied. We could not fault this hotel and would highly recommend it.

We have stayed in most of the hotels in Kitzbuhel but not this one. It has always looked very pretty when you walk past and it is. Lounge is very attractively arranged and has a bar. We book a room with a balcony and mountain view. It was a lovely big room with 2 large wardrobe with shelving. Unfortunately it was very dark. Really needs a strong lamp by the mirror. I had to use my phone to find something on the shelving. The balcony was lovely to sit on but it is on a busy road so take that into account. We would still have booked it. We were half board and we were happy with the food. Unfortunately at least one person has thought it was a good idea to have a cockerel I thought they only crowed in the morning but no, sadly all day.

Absolutely wonderful stay! In fact we're still here but we've been blown away with our visit that I thought I'd review sooner rather than later! Everything from the staff, cleanliness, facilities, location and food, has really been superb. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The food has been amazing, 4 wonderful courses each night and a breakfast each morning that is equally satisfying. Would highly recommend and visit again. Thank you to all the staff.

The hotel is very tired, and some walk from both the village and the lifts. Try somewhere nearer and newer. The facilities are indequate for a 4 star hotel. The reception staff were just rude. Could be a wonderful place with some tender loving care.

We went for a ski trip and found the hotel to be cosy. The bedrooms were fine, with balconies to enjoy the view (at the back of the hotel). Sleep quality not the best for some reason but we survived. Breakfast was very good with omelettes if you asked. Dinner was five course and always good. The lobby bar was Ok and the hotel wine choice not bad either. Our waiter every night was I think Luis who was brilliant. You have a fair walk to the gondola so we chose a ski shop - Element 3 - right near the lift and left our skis and boots there very evening which made it much easier. There are some very nice bars in town although it seemed very quiet from an apres ski perspective. The town came across as super-affluent and a very pleasant place to be. Skiing was pretty decent too.

The hotel has some notable staff. Irvana in the restaurant is friendly and lovely. Anna the best person on reception. Erik a nice waiter in the restaurant. Try not to get a room at the front of the hotel on the main road… it’s busy and if the snow needs to be cleared you get woken up at 5am!! Breakfast was lovely but even better in day 3 when we were offered different cooked eggs. Most of the staff didn’t offer this. Cleaning staff very friendly and did a good job of the rooms. A bit of a trek to the gondola up hill.

Great location, nice comfortable room but for half board make sure you are not put in the breakfast room which is fine but like a conference room but in the traditional wood panelled restaurant. Same food but ambiance is much nicer with candles on the tables and traditional Austrian decor. Apparently once you are stuck in the breakfast room you cannot switch as nicer restaurant in first come first serve, Surely everyone paying same room rate and should alternate. Maybe direct bookers get the better room?

We came and stayed for a week in August. The staff were all extremely helpful especially the lady on reception who I think was called Clara, she helped us upgrade our room to a balcony and any questions we had she helped us the whole week always with a smile on her face. The breakfast was ok continental but it would have been nice to have a little variety through the week as it was the same thing everyday. Our room was a nice size and very clean my only complaints is that there are not enough wall sockets in the room and we found the towels were too small. The reception/bar area is very nice and would love to be there in winter with all the snow. We will definitely be coming back and staying again. The hotel is in an amazing location which is perfect for getting around Kitzbühel via foot, the only down side is there is no parking and all the car parks in Kitzbühel are 15 euros a day to park so can get expensive
