A modern glass building with panoramic views, The PENZ Hotel openend its doors in 2002 as Innsbruck's first ever design hotel. In terms of furnishings, The Penz Hotel, located in the heart of the city, resembles the outer building - a lot of glass, paired with earthy colors and wood makes a comfortable yet sophisticated look. That extra special something is to be discovered on the 5tth floor, where the bar and restaurant offer spectacular views of Innsbruck for breakfast in the mornings or by night at the American Bar

Location is the best, clean with modern furniture, reception area is nice, room is very small and you would think from the pictures you would get a good view but it doesn’t have one, coffee machine is there but no complementary water provided, breakfast doesn’t have a lot of variety and the breakfast staff are so extra grumpy.

We spent one night there in two rooms for our family. Actually we wanted to book a hotel more centric first, but it later turned out that this hotel is still quite centric and just a few minutes walking distance away from the city center and other important locations. The breakfast is located in the top floor with a view over the city. The breakfast is far beyond what normal hotels offer. They could offer more pastries, but everything else was available in great varieties. Worth mentioning are fresh exotic fruits of many different kinds (even lots of fruits I've barely ever seen before) and freshly made orange juice. There were more than enough waiters filling up everything constantly, like five waiters for the 20 people having breakfast. And all of them very attentive. I'm not sure if this is only due to Corona times or if it's always like that. If you like to go shopping, the entrance to a big shopping mall is just next to the hotel and it shares a (paid) big parking garage. The rooms were not cheap, but compared to what we got for a similar price in Füssen the day before, this hotel is so much better. Would recommend any time.

Visited The Penz in December 2019 with my family. Exceptional service and super kid’s friendly. My husband was exhausted after driving and they accommodated our needs immediately. The view from the breakfast was breathtaking and we still speak about the high standards. We are looking forward to returning again. Thank you for making our stay magical! Super friendly reception and first class service ❤️✅

This is right downtown and has plenty of underground parking. Decent prices, super friendly service, top floor bar, with some nice views on a clear night and great outdoor part in the right weather. Decent breakfast. Rght in the middle of the shopping area too.

we stay here for one night and this hotel is wonderful. all the staff are very friendly and helpful with infos about to get around town. it is located perfectly and most sights can be done by walking. I also liked the room which are very clean and comfortable with a very good beed for a good sleep. the bathroom is a bid small but has all you need. when missing slippers the hotel provided to us immediately. also very recommenda ble is the buffet breakfast (even now duering covid19) it is a highlight. you get the very yummie austrian pastries and freshly squeezed juices. the qualitiy of the meat is also top. Well, all ingredients of this breakfast are from the best quality. I highly can recommend this hotel and give them a full point. For cars, the garage is underneat the building with direct access to the rooms. its a perfect city hotel. Thanks to all the staff for a very memorable stay. we definitely will stay here again. Innsbruck is a very nice old city worth for a visit.
