I don't understand why this hotel is rated 4 stars. The price is high while the rooms and services are not so great. It's not bad but I feel it to be overpriced. I don't think we will stay here again but you can give it a try if you want.

A great location near the main station & an easy walk to the old town. Friendly & very helpful staff at reception & in the Breakfast Room. Breakfast buffet is reasonable & the same daily. My room faced Adamgasse where there is a 24 hour bar which makes for an interrupted sleep every night. Vehicular traffic is also noisy. Hence...

An average hotel and nowhere near the three or four star rating they claim to be. Would avoid. Not worth the rates they charge. Breakfast is a big let down. Hardly a few items and nobody to help in the restaurant especially in the early hours.

The hotel is very central – only a 10min walk to the old town / cable car station, etc. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. Having been woken by the noise of Saturday night revellers, they moved us to a quieter room at the back of the hotel, with no hesitation, which was very much appreciated. That room...

This is nowhere near a 3 star hotel. A very basic room - services provided close to 2 star hotels. Nice staff, relatively clean, but highly overpriced. Breakfast nice, but make sure to be early as they do not replenish anything that runs out - we were there in the last 45 min of breakfast time and had to deal...

Spacious rooms, ok buffet breakfast (but terrible coffee - agree with previous reviewers!), in a great location, but perhaps a little pricy for what you got. Poor shower design - water splashes all over bathroom floor. Comfortable beds and reception staff were very helpful. We enjoyed our stay overall.

We stayed two nights at the Sailer. Well located. Rooms are very small. Ie 3 x2.5m. Decor and furnishings a bit tired. Needed maintenance. Very clean. A bit noisy. Rooms not well ventilated, requiring the windows to be left open. That however meant that the noise from the bar across the street, including police attended brawls in the early hours...
