I prefer an establishment with history and a personal feel. The rooms are a good size, the staff is very friendly, and the location (proximity to the historic center) was perfect, for me. Free wifi, cable television, and all the rest one expects at this price point.

Very comfortable, ample, quiet rooms with large modern bathroom and excellent location. Three minute walk to the Palace. Our room had beautiful views of the mountains. We enjoyed the rooftop terrace. The staff was very attentive and could not do enough for you. The breakfasts were amazing with lots of choices. The staff was so attentive that they brought my half decaf coffee to me every morning. Highly recommend.

We had a three night stay at this hotel in June 2019, staff were very welcoming and sorted us out with the all important Innsbruck Card. The room was a good size & well laid out. Location was excellent- close to old town but far enough away to avoid the crowds & walking distance to the train. We would stay here again.

Considering their star rating, one would have expected better. The restaurant is closed on Sunday for starters, the day we checked in, which was disappointing. However, the worst thing was one of our two rooms had a horrible, sewage stench emanating from the bathroom, and the hotel staff told us “this happens sometimes” and didn’t offer to change our room, or address the problem. For two nights we suffered with it, and finally all slept in one room as a result. So far, the hotel has not made any offer of recompense to us, and we will not use their hotel chain again as a result. You can have a lovely view of the Alps, and if you elect for a balcony room (as we did) you will be overlooking an open patio, and directly across from apartment balconies, so you can expect little to no privacy. It’s location is convenient to old town Innsbruck, but other than these small niceties, the rooms were outdated, bathrooms small and difficult to maneuver and again, the rooms were not well-maintained. A true disappointment.

The reason I stayed here was because of its awesome location. I was lucky that the room was ready for me at 12:30pm (although the checkin was at 4:00pm). The price is high compared to other hotels, and less amenities. For instance, there is no coffee pot available in the rooms. Also, no ironing facilities. Finally, in the morning, I had to check out at 6:15am in order to catch a flight, the checkout person informed me that they can't check me out till 6:30am due to cash reconciliations of the previous day! How can this be possible??? Nevertheless, I left at 6:15am, and did not wait to get the receipt (as I had luckily prepaid for this). Thus, the only reason that I will return to this place is due to the location, and if other hotels are unavailable. Good thing: Nice room with views of the mountains.
