This is a nice hotel in the centre of Salzburg. It takes only a couple of minutes to walk from the railway and bus station to the hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are quiet, and at least our room was much bigger than we expected. When I visit Salzburg next time, I will definitely choose this...

I was traveling with two adult children and we stayed in a triple at the hotel annex which is across the street from the hotel. The room was huge and included a separate room for the shower/sink and the toilet which worked great for three people in the morning. The breakfast was also massive including fruit, breads, meats, cheeses, yogurt,...

The hotel is located an easy walk from the train station. We stayed in the annex across the street two non-consecutive nights and had two different rooms. The first night we had a quiet room facing the back, the second night we had a front room facing the street, that was not as quiet, but still acceptable. The rooms are...

Stayed here for one night in early September 2009 in room 104 in the main building. Arrived at 6 in the morning after a hard trip with the night train from Venice. Had no reservation and payed 100 Euro for a room until noon the following day including breakfast upon arrival. Big and nice room consisting of a hall with...

Our travel agent booked us here because it was close to the station- big mistake- there was not room in the main building so we were assigned a room in the building across the street- nobody helped us with our luggage so we lugged it up the stairs and lo and behold the electronic key wouldn't work- went back they...

It is on a very noisy street......a lucious graden, as the picture seems to indicated has apparently disappeared....the annex of the hotel which claims to have the "country charm" is above a sport-betting bar in a very ugly 1060s housing block. The air-conditioned non-smoking rooms are actually not air-conditioned! One can use a free-standing fan that needs to be switched...

We spent 3 nights at the hotel. The restaurant was acceptable with a good breakfast buffet but the evening meal we ate there was nothing exceptional. Our room was well sized with a good sized bathroom and good beds. Closet space was exceptional. The internet connection had a small fee. Staff was friendly very helpful in booking concerts. The biggest...

I stayed here because it was close to the train station. I don't mind a longish walk into the town but just in case, be aware that it's located a good 15-20mins from the main sights in a slightly dingy part of town. I found it on Hotels.com for about $100 USD a night, paying a little extra for a...

My husband and I stayed here with his parents for 3 nights. We had requested one smoking room and one non smoking room weeks previously but were given two non smoking rooms. On enquiring about this we were told there were none available until the following day so we decided not to bother and smoke outside instead. The rooms were...
