a delight , well equipped rooms with balcony , music in the bathroom & breakfast , free parking , in a quiet neighbourhood & great service . only downside is there is no restaurant in the premises but a few options exist a short walk away .
We stayed 4 nights and we appreciated this family owned hotel. The decor is nice, lobby and rooms are very clean with à large bathroom. It is unlikely to find 2 pools indoor and outdoor in a small hotel but the most attractive is the buffet breakfast. There is a very large choice of food, pastries , bread, freshly pressed juices, fruit, cheese.
Stayed in a family room and beds were comfortable. Room was smaller than expected. Our outdoor space was as large as the indoor. Not much within walking distance. For the price, we should have stayed in Salzburg.
Had two nights on a Friday and Saturday at the beginning of August. Best part of the stay was undoubtedly the excellent breakfast. As we booked quite late we took a smallish double room. It was perfectly fine for 2 nights, thanks to the unusual and positive feature for an Austrian hotel - air conditioning, although as the room was small, my wife found the cold air a little too intense. At 165 Euro a night, it is not cheap, but it is a lot cheaper than anything in Salzburg which is 5 miles away - the setting is best if you have a car with you, then it’s about 15 minutes drive into Salzburg. Parking at the hotel is easy with its own parking right opposite. The negatives are that the indoor pool, which attracted us to the hotel, is actually quite small while the outdoor pool is tiny. In summary, a very pleasant alternative to staying in Salzburg, with clean rooms, nice balconies, helpful staff and wonderful breakfast. …
This hotel is about 15 minutes by car outside of Saltzburg city. I would only recommend staying here if you have your own car. Pros: Nice breakfast included, good air conditioning, quaint little hotel.
