I absolutely love Haus Reichl. Stayed here for a few days in the summer based on TripAdvisor reviews and was not disappointed. Although it's a bit outside of the main city, it's easy enough to get into town. The quiet, country-like setting, comfortable rooms, and wonderful breakfasts for a great rate made Haus Reichl a favorite. When my travel companion... More

My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights. It was a very nice place to stay. While the breakfast was the same every morning, we felt as though it was very good, filling, healthy, and fresh. The owner very polite and helpful and we did not feel a language barrier even though we speak English only. The room was... More

I stayed at Haus Reichl this October with my sister and cousin. We flew into Munich, and caught a regional train for 10 Euros a piece to Salzburg. From the train station we were able to catch a cab for about 15 E to the B & B. You are able to catch the city bus from the train station... More

We just got back from a 2 night stay here and we were very pleased. The owners were great and made us feel welcome and comfortable. I would like to add some observations concerning some of the comments. Getting there seemed to be an issue for some. What we did was hire a taxi from the airport (about 15 euro)... More

We have been to Salzburg several times. This B&B is located in a beautiful countryside setting and is very clean with spacious rooms that come with a private bathroom, couch, and tv. The breakfast is plentiful, and the owner usually makes a tasty cake throughout the week. That said, there are a few other things worth noting. 1) The owners... More

This is my forth trip to Salzburg and I stayed at the haus on the strength of the reviews. It seems most of these reviews are made by people that have not stayed at other places around town. It is fine but you will find far nicer places for the price all over the area. The owners are friendly but... More

I stayed here three nights in August, 2012 with a friend. My parents had stayed there a few years ago and recommended it. First of all, it's a great location, especially if you have a car. It's nice to park your car, but then also have the option of taking the bus into the old town. I found it pretty... More

I found Haus Reichl as a recommendation in the Rick Steves Austria guidebook and it didn't disappoint. Franziska is a terrific hostess and her breakfasts, especially the homemade strudels, are absolutely delicious. The rooms are comfortable and since there are only two or three of them, it feels very cozy. We had a rental car, but there is a bus... More

If you want to stay in a country home, this is it! This place is like something out of a storybook, and bursting with charm. It's the little things that make this place so special, like the host being unable to meet us when we arrived, had left the keys on the porch, with a handwritten welcome note, cute signboards... We found this lovely B&B on the Internet and had a wonderful time in Salzburg. Franziska gave us a very warm welcome and made our stay really enjoyable. Our room was cosy and breakfast was great. We felt like home.
