I loved this charming little hotel, and it helped make my short trip to the beautiful little hamlet of Salzburg just wonderful. The old town location is fantastic, and the amenities -- including in-room teas and a full day of free mini-bar! -- are terrific. My room even had some exposed 15th century frescoes. I booked somewhat last minute and...

I really wanted to love this hotel, and I can appreciate why the reviews are as high as they are, and I've rated it 4, but for me I think there would be a better choice in Salzburg. It's very cool and chic, very expensive, breakfast not included and extra 18Euros per person (ouch), no lounge area or bar area,...

We loved this hotel so much we didn't want to leave. If we have been on a more flexible schedule we probably would have asked if we could stay a couple more nights. It is the top of my favorites list. It is small boutique hotel. There are not a lot of rooms. ROOMS. Each room has unique decor. Comfortable...

I booked this hotel about a week before we arrived, and it's right at the heart of the old city. We love the location. The staffs here are super nice and friendly. The room we got is on the 3rd floor (4th floor in North America way), it has a very spacious living room, bathroom, and bedroom. The hotel also...

Very pleasant hotel, very centrally located in the old city. The staff was extremely helpful in booking concert tickets and making restaurant recommendations. The room was comfortable and we particularly liked the refrigerator and coffee and tea facilities. The restaurant is excellent and breakfasts were great.

I travelled to the hotel with a friend for his 30th, staying in seperate rooms. At first look the rooms were large and spacious, decorated tastefully, with lots of nice books, beautiful teas to drink and a truely wonderful shower. After spending a night there were some flaws, the rooms are very warm, like a sauna/bikrim yoga hot. There are...

A quirky, lovely hotel in a fabulous location. The service was good, although lacked some of the finer finishes for a hotel of this standing (for example, no help with bags). Salzburg is an expensive city and this was not a cheap hotel. Relative to other hotels on our trip (in different cities) this hotel was not in the same...

My wife and I spent a fabulous couple of days at Salzburg's Hotel Goldgasse. This small, boutique hotel is situated on a narrow, yet very pretty shopping street in the heart Salzburg's old town. The outer facade does little to give away the cornucopia of delights which await, when you climb the slender staircase to the first floor reception. It's...

Perfect and excellent location and surroundings. Short walk to Christmas markets which adds to the charm. Their breakfast is really good and fully worth to choose to include and a top class restaurant with great food and wine. Our room was very comfortable and large, with all modern amenities. All hotel staff very efficient and helpful. I would love to return...
