Salzburg is an incredible town, we went in winter and it was lovely with plenty to do. I stupidly told my wife that I would sort out the room and would upgrade to a "romantic suite". This was not the hotel to choose - these photos are real..... Breakfast was great, but it is difficult to look past the room... More

We visited Salzburg during the annual music festival for our 43rd wedding anniversary. We had a lovely if somewhat small room with no air conditioning in the heart of Salzburg. The service and the free breakfast were excellent. They offered free coffee, tea and cake in the afternoon as well as free wifi. We highly recommend the Mozart Dinner Concert... More

We (2 adults+1 child) stayed 3 nights in this hotel for a family vacation early August; but the room (#51) we were checked in was way too small for a family, we had to keep our luggage in the closet to get some space to walk around in the room and take them out every time when we want anything... This was my second stay here since 2006. My previous stay was in November so to be honest I never noticed the bells because I most likely had my windows closed. For all who are, like most people, easily disturbed by extremely loud noises in the night take comfort in the fact that the LOUD bells of the nearby church... More

Most comfortable hotel in a great position , close to all the major sights. We travelled by bus number 2 from the airport which stops 100 metres from the hotel with no changes, excellent. The old town is literally 50 metres from the hotels front door. Our room was in the residence on opposite side of the road. Good sized, most... More

The hotel was nice with an indoor pool, that we enjoyed. The breakfast buffet consisted of everything including Mimosas, which was a huge plus in my book. The room we stayed in was called the "Romantic Room" which I think The Bird room would have been more fitting. There were birds everywhere, the bed had a mural that lit up... More

This was one of few older properties that could accommodate a family with children. We stayed in the annex across the street. Our rooms were on the top two floors. We appreciated a separate bathroom and sleeping area for our children. It would have been nice to have curtains for the skylights, but we were up early anyway. The small... More

Efficient from our arrival until we left for Fuschlsee this boutique hotel with its own small but delightful spa - steam, sauna and tiny pool - is a perfect contrast to the over priced 5 star hotels I have used in this lovely city which has a fabulous music festival and is Mozart's birth city. Air conditioning, comfortable rooms, good... More

I booked this hotel based off of the recommendation in my guide book and previous reviews on Trip Advisor, I was sorely disappointed. While I was supposed to stay at this hotel for 3 nights, I checked out after only and even that one night was a mistake. So what was the problem? There were many. As soon as I... More

This hotel is right across the river from the main city area of Salzburg but is an easy walk to everywhere. The breakfast is delicious and filling. The staff is friendly and informative. We were able to book tours easily. Restaurants on this side of town were also great. It is a nice and quiet location without the bustle of... More
