This traditional hotel has been run by the same family for three generations and it shows. Everything runs perfectly, from the welcome & information provided on arrival, to the rooms (not massive, but fitted out to a high standard) and the breakfast. Very quiet, and closer to the centre than it might appear on the map.

Arrived to a very friendly woman at the front desk who helped us decide what to do during our short stay in Salzburg. The hotel itself was quaint but dated, arrived in the room for a bit of a culture shock, there were two front doors for added for soundproofing and the room was quite dated. It was very clean...

The hotel is centrally located within easy walking distance (20-25 min) to the old part of Salzburg where cars are not allowed. This is something worth noting that we didn't know about before planning our trip. Even in the rain and wind, it was a pleasant walk for all 4 of us. The folks who ran the hotel were absolutely...

We used TA to find this hotel based on ratings and proximity (5 minutes) walk from the main train station and were more than pleasantly surprised. The family is third generation and hard-working to make every detail just right. The rooms - we had a double - are large and spacious and ours (a corner room #204) had a 4-poster...

Close to train station, maybe 10 min walk. Not far to the old city by foot, maybe 20 minutes. Lots of places, close by, to eat. Beds great. Staff friendly. Rooms good size for Europe. This is an old property, which contributes to its charm. The shower pressure is great but the the tub configuration is most unusual. They still...

The hotel is an easy walk from the old part of Salzburg. It has parking, which is a bonus. The rooms are a reasonable size but are dated. When we were there, early June, it also smelled musty, perhaps as the weather was pretty damp. Staff were helpful, if a little abrupt.

Quaint, comfortable hotel with very personable owners. Charming front room and guest rooms. Our room was smaller but fit me and daughter fine. The beds were great and comfortable for a good nights sleep. The breakfast spread was huge, fresh and delicious! Great way to start the day before sight seeing. Front desk very helpful with maps, directions and even...

We traveled there in early August. The property was an old but comfortable home. Our room was small, dated but comfortable. Very nice breakfast buffet. Located only a few blocks from the train station and buses
