Modern and trendy place, nice rooms and great breakfast. Service very friendly and helpful. Good location to start your discovery of Salzburg. Parking a bit expensive and the space for having breakfasst is in the lobby and often crowded

Quiet location, away from city centre, but easily reachable in 25 minutes by bus from city centre and the bus stop is right in front of the hotel. Frequent bus service (every 10 minutes) available from Salzburg Central Train Station. There is a supermarket just behind the hotel. Airconditioned rooms with flat screen TV and free wi-fi. We liked the connected rooms as we were travelling as a family of four. But it was disappointing that there is no kettle, coffee or tea. Also there was no view from our rooms. I understand from other reviews that rooms on the other side have mountain view. We had an issue with the linen as towels, bed sheets and pillow cover had a foul smell. This continued even after they changed it next day. We complained two times to front desk as well as house keeping. But nobody seems to be bothered about it and the issue kept on bothering us till we left. Though the hotel is listed as a budget hotel, we feel it is expensive as the rates were high compared to similar hotels. Will definitely look out for better options next time.

I was in Salzburg as part of my annual vacation of Austria. I covered Vienna, Salzburg, Hallstatt & Innsbruck as part of my itinerary. My stay at Salzburg was at Motel One which was only few bus-stops away from the Salzburg train station. Motel One can be classified as a contemporary budget hotel within close proximity of the city Centre and hence do not expect too much luxury on site; having said that my stay was super friendly here. The property is very chic, the stylish rooms feature modern furnishings and is very colorful. You get free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs, and the bathrooms had rainfall showers. The breakfast albeit comes for a fee. (Perhaps I booked a room with no inclusion of breakfast – My Bad) I even had a wonderful view of a mountain top right outside from my bedroom window. The reception was warm and welcome, and I had no issues whatsoever. Loved the fact that there was a bus-stop right opposite to the hotel which took you to the city center and it was dot on time all the time. All in all, I had a wonderful stay and would love to stay here again – without a hesitation.

We visited here weekend of the 25th October and had an amazing stay, the staff where so helpful. Katalina and Hans Peter plus the other staff just didn’t get there names went out of there way to help us with trips and transport, recommended great restaurants etc. The hotel is very modern and very clean, breakfast there is plenty to chose from and recommend I think it was a tomato paste I wish I had got the name of it as it was truly delicious. We had a few cocktails in the evening which where also great. Thankyou for a wonderful stay and hope to be back in the future.
