We enjoyed our complimentary upgrade to an executive suite. The other room we had was a twin room which was comfortable although perhaps could have done with complimentary coffee making facilities given this is a 5* hotel. The rooms are very warm. The beds are great.

Our room is bigger than our apartment and the location is one of the best in Salzburg. Typical Austrian, good Nepresso coffee in your room, fresh fruit and goodies, and nice toiletries in the bath. All in all a good hotel and will stay here again.

Historical building , nice location but far away from an 5 star hotel. We have arrived on Sunday by car , with no parking space in front of the hotel. The receptionist show us 2 parking spaces for the car. No advices about the vallet parking. Location is very good, inside the old town. No concierge facility found. Rooms are...

We have only just arrived today (4 adults) I e mailed prior to leaving NZ to explain we would arrive mid morning and requested early entry into our rooms and for our two adult sons to have single beds in their standard room. When we arrived our executive room was ready and the boys standard room an hour later. The...

We were welcomed nicely, given an upgraded room and were very pleased that the staff had arranged birthday flowers, exactly as asked. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The hotel is an old building, which is what we wanted, so you need to accept the quirky but comfortable environment. The location is the big bonus for visiting Salzburg, -...

We really enjoyed our stay: - The location couldn't be better - especially for the Christmas Markets - The room was hugh and well presented. Maybe slightly dated but that just added to the experience and charm of the hotel - Staff were really helpful and welcoming For our weekend, we couldn't have picked a better place to stay

We took an 'executive room' for more space. The room was very large and comfortable, but no views. The staff are friendly, helpful and multilingual. The hotel has a cafe as well as a formal restaurant. The cafe is very handy as in cold weather it can be reached without going out of the hotel. You can pay only euro...

Fabulous hotel, magical. Our room was huge and located on a corner over looking the river and the mountains. The bathroom was very large with bath and a separate shower cubical, lots of space for everything as the double vanity and sink units had lots of storage. The dining room was very nicely decorated but the whole hotel was beautiful...
