An amazing few days spent with friends visiting Salzburg for the Christmas market. A most idyllic place to stay just a stones throw from the river and just need to cross the bridge into the heart of Salzburg. Very warm welcome by Herbert who escorted us around the guest house. We stayed in the loft, a fantastic space with over...

I had a great experience here. If you check in after noon as I did the check in process is clear. The location is amazing. It's around the block from Mozart's residence (one of them). That being said look up for a classy, understated hotel sign. If it's raining and you're focused on low street level you can miss it....

Dear jenn m, many many thanks for your positive feedback – this is highly appreciated! I would just like to rectify one thing: only room Bali – the one you staid in – has an external BUT private toilet, hence this is NOT shared and only for guests of room Bali. All other rooms have bathrooms & toilets in the...

We stayed at Arte Vida for two nights. It is in the perfect location, we were able to walk to everything in Salzburg and there were many great restaurants and a supermarket down the street. Check-in was very easy and Herbert was fantastic giving us advice on where to visit, eat and have coffee. Our room was huge and we...

Fifteen year old grandson, son-in-law, and I (grandma) spent 3 nights at Arte Vida Boutique Guesthouse and liked it and the managers a lot! Having been to Morocco a few years ago I appreciated the authentic Moroccan decor. Location is excellent on a pedestrian street. Right opposite is an excellent restaurant with indoor/outdoor seating. We ended up eating breakfast each...

Wonderful place to stay in the center of Salzburg. Our stop in Salzburg was sadly only a day and a half so we were more than pleased with the location of Arte Vida, which gave us quick access to everything we wanted to see. Located right in the center, and only a 2 minute walk from the bus station. The...

Interesting and charming property! Lots of artsy tibetan/indian/spiritual decoration, done in a nice way. Nevertheless, at first glance I found them a little over optimized and impersonal (self check in, no staff at reception in the afternoon, etc.) Then we met the owner and ended up chatting with him for 30 minutes. A very pleasant and intelligent guy. In the...

I am apprehensive about writing my true feelings because I want to go back soon and I'm afraid they'll be booked forever. The word that best describes my feeling walking into the loft and looking out the windows is "magical". It literally took my breath away and I felt relaxed. After 3 site filled, incredible days in Munich with my...

I was here with my boyfriend for a long weekend and really loved it. The location is great - just one bus from the airport and walking distance from most the sights and great restaurants. The couple that run it are really lovely and very helpful. They let me attend a yoga class and held it in German and English...

An interesting guest house in a fantastic location in central Salzburg, located close to the Old Town and many of the cities' primary attractions. Communication from the hotel was excellent and check in was smooth but did involve us having to enter codes and check in ourselves as no staff were in attendance on the Saturday. The room was very...
