Stayed on the top floor with balcony. Admittedly we didn't leave our room the entire stay as we'd just finished a long bike ride. Room was massive with comfy bed. Staff very friendly on front desk & helpful. Breakfast next day was best I've had on our trip. Don't have anything to complain about, it ticked all the boxes. Actually,...

Like others who gave less than laudatory reviews of this establishment, we stayed in the Gasthof section, which is on a dark street a block away from the much more attractive (and probably much more comfortable) hotel. But the hotel is tiny, and while we signed up for that, we got the larger Gasthof. What was it like? Like staying...

Note that I stayed in the guesthouse and not the hotel. Breakfast was delicious and I appreciated the coffee- see why below! The bed was really firm and uncomfortable so I hardly slept the first night. It was fitful! The second night I was so tired I thought it would be less of a problem to sleep and I was...

I had a ten day stay at both the hotel and the Gasthof, not by choice because my wife was in the hospital close by. All the reception staff were helpful. The room at both locations was small but I was the only occupant. The evening meals at the Gasthof were good. Breakfasts at the hotel also. I was disappointed...

First, the good points. Our room was large, comfortable and clean. The breakfast, 100m away at the hotel, was very good with plenty of choice. Having a beer on the guesthouse terrace was very pleasant after another long day cycling. The bad points- no obvious sign for the reception. No lift, but 44 steps up to our second floor room,...

On arrival no visible reception area. 35 degrees centigrade on arrival. No a/c and my request for a fan was met by bemusement. Room adequate with wifi. Hotel had a pretty terrace with good food. We were served by Jennifer who was charming and the hardest working waitress we've ever seen ! She is a real asset to the hotel....

stayed at hotel, not gasthaus; higher priced than other locations on the Danube cycle route; clean & comfortable; location out of historic touristy old town area; bicycle storage away down the street & around the corner, but OK; excellent breakfast; helpful staff; obviously a favourite of Danube route cyclists.

The restaurant is really good here, always full, great food. Also good breakfast. Bike storage is approx 50m away, no problem. Concerning the room, nothing special, normal, clean bathroom, but you probably all know the feeling when you look at the crinkled bed and are not sure if it is properly cleaned, and it does not smell fresh and rinsed......

Upon arriving we couldn't find reception to check in - there is none. We were told we have to walk through the dining room and find a server to check us in. She was incredibly rude and abrupt, and I understood her hurry due to her being the only one in the dining room. We were told we weren't allowed...

Pleasant bright room, lots of windows with nice outlook. Reception a bit hard to find, in bar at front of hotel. Bike storage was up the street, then we had to come back and climb lots of stairs (lucky we are fit!). Dinner was reasonable but restaurant smelt a bit from smokers in bar at front. Breakfast we had to...
