This is a lovely hotel in Klosterneuburg. We had a suite, which was very spacious. The room included a small fridge, a range and dishware. The room was comfortable and very quiet. The couple running the hotel were very kind and helpful. Breakfast was a true taste treat.
There is a grocer and a bakery (Hollander) across the street. The hotel is a short stroll from Stift Klosterneuburg and Saint Martin.
The hotel is very convenient to the Klosterneuburg Kierling train station, about 200 meters away. The train into Vienna requires a separate ticket from your 24/48/72/week Vienna passes (which are only good in Vienna) but the price for those tickets to Vienna is cheap (2.40) and the trains run frequently (watch the trains back from Vienna:not all stop at Klosterneuburg and you don't want to find yourself in Krems). The trip into Vienna only takes about 15 minutes.
After the bustle of Vienna, it was nice to come back to the quiet of Klosterneuburg and to relax in our room, sometimes with some wine and cheese from the Spar. We'd highly recommend this place.

Stayed several times over the last year and this is a wonderful small hotel, great location close to Vienna in peaceful Klosterneuberg, the hotel is off the square with its own gated private entrance, parking in the courtyard if you have a car, wonderful garden with many seating options all round, rooms are fresh, newly renovated with everything you need, great breakfast with heathy options and always a wonderful friendly atmosphere all rolled in. A Gem any season.

Hotel Salmeyer was a great surprise for me during my business trip to Vienna / Klosterneuburg. It was much like a boutique or bed and breakfast. The owners were very kind and accommodating of our schedules. The rooms are all unique and were clean and well equipped. Wonderful breakfast in the morning prepared by the owners. Next time I return to the area, I will stay at Hotel Salmeyer.

The owners are very kind and helpful, however, the cost of this hotel is very overpriced. We spent a week in Vienna and stayed at 6 different hotels. This was the most expensive of all of them and there were no amenities. The room was large (it was an apartment), but it felt overpriced because that wasn't what I needed. The style of the room was old and over-furnished.

We took a week to bike from Passau down to Vienna and the rental bike drop off point was here- the company also reccomended this hotel to stay in. It is not in downtown Vienna so we were a bit on the fence but after looking at a few more places we decided to just book this one. We weren’t expecting anything as nice as this! The hotel is awesome! Definitely an older building (a few hundred years per our host) but well kept with large well decorated rooms and all very clean! Breakfast was excellent as well and they let us use the washer and dryer which was much appreciated at the end of our journey.
As far as not being in Vienna proper it’s really no problem as there is a bus station and train station all within 2 minutes walk. Both are quick and easy to use. The only down side is that coming off the bike trail we almost didn’t find it as it’s up a small hill and tucked away on a street of its own.
If I ever return to Vienna I will be booking here!

If you appreciate good food, and a delicious and nutritious breakfast is important to you - this is the place to stay. But honestly, this is just one of the many reasons why I give this place 5*s. The innkeepers are warm, welcoming and most of all real. they provide you with great recommendations, and truly know their neighborhood and beyond. The rooms are beautiful, every suite has a different style and decoration. My husband and I have stayed their twice now, and felt like at home in both of the suites we experienced. The location is ideal, if you want to stay outside of Vienna, you are in the capital within 15 minutes by train (every 30 minutes) or bus (every 10 minutes). Beside of the tasteful decoration, the rooms are clean! and you what amazed me most of all as it is untypical for a B&B - they change your towels and make your bed/room every day, just like in a 5* Hotel. Highly recommend this place. tip: if you tell the owners you like wine, you may just be in for a very special treat! :)

This is a real gem. Run by the most lovely, friendly couple (who speak good English), the rooms are huge and well appointed. Apartments with a small kitchen if you want to self cater. A lovely homely feel to it. Our room looked out over the main square but was not noisy, despite the market setting up first thing on Saturday morning. (Great local food market too - we bought loads). Excellent breakfast served by our hosts who chatted to us throughout. Nothing was too much trouble. Gave us a great recommendation for supper too. Right by the train station so an excellent base for exploring Vienna - 30 minutes to the centre by train and tram. A real find.

Great appartments, spacious, funny art objects, secret garden with sweet tomatos and raspberry :) and nice view to the little square - nearby Reformhaus with Organic food, the breakfast was nothing special (2 years ago), more space for parking would be great but is OK, the owner very friendly and helfull.

We stayed at Buergerhaus Saymeyer for one night in May 2016. They have made arrangements with Fahrrad Klinik in Passau to leave their rented bicycles here. Our room was clean, quiet and had a real double bed (rather than two singles pushed together)
