Stayed at Sandy Beach with family and friends. Staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough for you. From Christine and the reception team and Manager Nic and all the waiting and bar staff, first class service. Such a shame with such good weather in Cyprus in November the hotel closes for the 'Winter' Great location, lovely pool and beach Highly recommend for those looking for holidays in Cyprus next year.

We stayed here for two nights on a short break to Cyprus and found the hotel to be clean, comfortable and well located. The room was spacious with a decent balcony, well equipped though lacking any tea/coffee making facilities and it was quiet at night ensuring a decent level of sleep. The hotel restaurant offers decent meals at great prices and is a good lunch option. The hotels beach is clean, spacious and has direct access from the hotel with lots of sun loungers. All in all it was a very good stay and we would recommend it.

My husband, 15 month old and I are just back from a fantastic week’s stay at Sentido Sandy Beach Hotel and would love to return in the future! We jumped in a taxi from the airport which only took about 15mins to the hotel for €25. On arrival check in was quick, reception was lovely, clean and bright with drinks available and our room was great. Lots of space even with a cot in there. We had a side sea view from the balcony which was nice. Bed was comfortable, all was clean and we said hello to a cleaner on the way in who said she’d put a kettle in our room in case we needed to warm up baby food. Food was great. It seemed to get better and better all week. There are salad options, soup, main dishes and then some extra bits being cooked outside. There was always carbonara and bolognese at lunch and dinner from outside, chips/potatoes, plainish meats, oh and pancakes for breakfast, so something available for the fussier eaters. The goulash, moussaka and kebab meat were my favourites and the husband loved the banoffee pie! The beach is where we spent most of our time. The sea was so calm on 6/7 days it was like swimming in a lake. We did a little snorkelling as it was so clear and there was plenty to see. There were always sunbeds free on the beach, we did nab the last 2 one day but people come and go. The pools are very clean, cold as you’d expect although on the last day they seemed much warmer?! A couple of small paddling areas for the little one which was great and some comfy mattress beds around the edge. It’s not really made to be a hotel for children as such, all the children we saw were very well behaved, quiet but enjoying themselves. It was perfect for our toddler for that reason! Probably not the place for boisterous children! Haha! Our girl ended up walking around the various parts of the hotel, there was lots of space in reception with sofas and rocking chairs and she’d go round and round in circles! Outside the hotel there are a few restaurants and bars dotted along the road and several shops which were handy as I’d forgotten my razor! We hired a car from Helen’s car/Stelios which is opposite the hotel. No big deposit, no fuss, minimum 3 days but we only wanted 1 day so he let us have it 5pm til 5pm. We drove to Laranca which was nice for a change of scenery and up to Nicosia to see the border. The staff at the hotel were friendly, helpful and attentive. Especially the staff at the bar in the evenings! I forget the names ( I think Theodoros?) but they were great. Gave me extra nibbles! Cocktail of choice for me was San Francisco but there was plenty of choice for all inclusive! We absolutely loved our stay. Thank you to everyone at the hotel!

I want to share my experience as I live it and also to do some remarks over the other reviews. First of all, I was a Thomas Cook traveler as my travel agent bought the trip from Thomas Cook and, of course, Thomas Cook didn't pay it to the hotel. When we arrived at the hotel, even if nothing was sort it out regarding payment, the hotel warmly welcomed us. Another good thing was that all the staff is doing all the time his best to please the customers, to help the customers, they are extremely polite and I can say without any doubt that the staff of the hotel is one of the best I ever see in my over 50 hotels I stayed abroad (plenty of 5 stars also). The food is good, very good I can say, even if there wasn’t plenty things to choose from. Don't get me wrong, there is enough food and things to choose from, but it could be a little bit better. The negative things IMH are: THE DRINKS are absolutely the WORSE I ever had in my life. We where with all Inclusive package and what was available as drinks to all-inclusive customers was absolutely disgusting. After I arrived home, I read many reviews from the other customers from this summer, wanted to see what the customers are saying about the drinks. I was shocked to see that many of them appreciated the drinks and the others were not saying something negative about that, so I can conclude that they are considering at least acceptable. I can say that most of the customers where Germans, British and Russians...so I think that the reviews are mostly from them. I really can't understand if these customers don't know what is a good drink and what is not. The beer was something that I can't describe..maximum 2.5-3.0% alcohol, and after 10 seconds after you are putting the beer on the table, it is looking like it was there since 3 hours. I really don't know how to describe that drink called beer. The wine was white, red and rose and all the wine was watered down. A wine should have around 10-11-12% alcohol, and it had around 9% as maximum. The assortment of cocktails from the all-inclusive menu where again with the cheapest and the lowest quality alcohol that you could find in Cyprus: the worst gin, the worst vodka and so on. I saw that the bartender on the beach was highly appreciated by some customer. Indeed, he is a good and polite person, always wanted to satisfy the customers. But, he had nothing to do as being a bartender. For instance, he was preparing the tonic gin with half tonic, half gin, as any average bartender should know that the gin should be less and the tonic should be more in a glass. Also, the water from the all-inclusive menu was from a hose. They had probably some filters for the tap water and then a hose at the end with a button. To drink water from a hose it was too much. The walls from the room needs to isolate a little bit better the noise from the other rooms. Anyway, this is not a negative review, even if it looks so, but I wanted to share my view about the drinks as future customers could find this helpful. Also, I didn't wanted to give a score of "Average" for the hotel as this is not true. But when I'm seeing that most people give "Excellent", I can say that also this in not true, so I wanted to balance the things a little. "Very good" I think that is the normal score for this hotel. Also, I'm reporting the things having in mind that for 2 people we payed 210 euros per night. Maybe 30 euros was our travel agent commission, 30 euros was Thomas Cook commission and 150 euros per night went to the hotel. No, I don't think that we received the added value for the money we payed and I think that Cyprus in general is more expensive that the county deserves.
