A welcoming hotel where the staff is attentive to your needs. The rooms are cleaned thoroughly every day, towels changed as necessary, kettle with coffee and tea renewed daily. The only downside is soundproofing. At the restaurants, fresh produce and varied dishes. A special mention for the entertainment team who seek to brighten up your vacation without crowding. Touching attentions and caring facilitators. Thanks to Yassine for waiting for our very late arrival by offering us a small snack and ensuring that our rooms met our expectations. Thank you also for organizing unifying aperitifs on the beach or in the garden so that we could chat with vacationers. A special price for Anna who will give you tips and tricks for tailor-made excursions. Thank you Anna for your kindness and availability! Odette Nicolas and Léa.

We have had our first package holiday for over 10yrs due to normally self catering holidays. Wow. From the moment we arrived we were looked after by all the team at Sandy Beach from the manger Doris (nothing was too much for us) Andreas, the amazing Andy, Cristina, Constino and many other who assisted us in making our holiday a special memory. The rooms were very well kept and cleaned regularly, the food (Buffett) was very good and if the children wanted something different it was never an issue, the drinks and extras were all included on the all inclusive package. The only things that was not included was the A La Carte menu.
The hotel is well laid out with a nice big pool area leading down to the beach area. The hotel is very modern in lots of things but could do with some investment in the outdoor areas to further modernise the hotel. For a 4 star hotel it was extremely good with great service by all.
On leaving today I meet a man who was building the new Italian outdoor restaurant. This will be a great addition to a special resort near the sandy beach of Larnaca.

Such a pleasure to write about the Sandy Beach Hotel, to which we have been returning year after year! A hotel full of lovely, airy spaces, magnificent sea views, comfortable seating indoors and outdoors - and spectacular transitions between the two, immediate access to a lovely beach as well as too excellent pools, splendid breakfast with very wide choice (including fresh food and various cooked things), and a high level of cleanliness. But it is above all a very friendly place, and I cannot praise the staff highly enough for this - undoubtedly the greatest asset of the hotel, which I would rate even higher than the physical comforts and magnificent location! From the hotel owner to the ladies who clean the rooms, the courtesy, consideration and warmth of demeanour displayed by one and all is so precious, and makes one feel very much at home. It is invidious to mention names, as I cannot remember all the names of the members of staff, but I simply have to mention Christina (whom I always look forward to seeing year after year, and who is tireless in her efforts to make sure that every guest is settling in well), Stella, Varvara, Christophoros, Elsa and others. Thank you for contributing to the lovely vibes of the place, and for helping make our stay such an enjoyable one! Some of my photos are from the traditional wine-tasting evening, held at the hotel once a week, where local produce of high quality and refreshments are tasted, all with the compliments of the hotel - and an excellent way of breaking the ice, allowing guests from many different parts of the world to chat together.

my husband and I were very disappointed with the hotel itself not the staff. This is rated as full star hotel however I’ve stayed in three star hotels prior to this insight price which have been far better and far superior in Their immunities.
I did mention in my contact as portal message that I would advise of some of the points that we found to be extremely disappointing as well as photographic evidence that I took while we stayed at the hotel.
Firstly, we stayed as a bed and breakfast at the hotel and to say the breakfast was lacking is an understatement that is not a four star hotel breakfast as stated above I’ve stayed in three star hotels prior and the breakfast compared to what was given to us at Sandy Beach was more five or six star status compared to what we were given. I understand that you do all inclusive and if that’s what you wish to do then remain is an all-inclusive Hotel and Do Not offer for bed and breakfast at substandard levels.
The sun lounges are dated and plastic and cracked and in addition to that the cushions for the lounges or had mould creating a health hazard I’ve attached photos below of this.
You kindly provided us with some wine and fruit on our first day which is much appreciated however we were given knives and forks and plates for the fruit again appreciated, however these were not taken from the room until we left, therefore when we left the knives and forks that had been used on the first day were still in the room on the 12th day when we left. Clearly harbour Ing and growing bacteria.
On one day when our room was cleaned the sponge that was used to clean the bathroom was left in the bathroom which was not a major incident, however when it remains there for three days that slightly concerning as to whether the room is actually being cleaned at all.
The door notice saying Weather do not disturb or clean my room clearly need to be changed or given some form of support each time. This is being hung on the door. It was falling on the floor to the point that I had to then close that label into the door to ensure that the right notice was given.
There was an incident when we stayed at the hotel where you allow pets which is fine it’s entirely your prerogative however when a dog defecate in the middle of your reception and entrance hall and nobody declared this up and you allow people to walk around it and don’t put a notice is clearly unacceptable. We noticed this as we walked out of the hotel however somebody is coming in with luggage and doesn’t walk straight into it and carry that across the hotel.
Hey. Hotel would not have a dirty little piece of carpet within the lift which smelt awful. Surely as you have in the service left a laminate that would serve better.
Please note that these are just some of the points that disappointed us for our holiday that we saved a lot of money for to come and stay at the well renowned Sandy Beach a four star hotel which clearly is not.

We are a rather old couple and we spent a month at the Sentido Sandy Beach Pension (from July 16 to August 13, 2024). This stay was very pleasant. Here are the main points to note.
The Pension has enough sunbeds at the beach and swimming pool so that until late morning (even early afternoon) you can find a place in the shade. This avoids the always unpleasant “race to the deckchairs”.
The rooms are comfortable. An adapatateur with Anglo-Saxon plug model is provided as well as a hairdryer. We had a very nice walk-in shower. The cleaning done every day was sometimes a little "light". It seems to depend on which housekeeper makes the room.
The restaurant service offers quality cuisine, not greasy and not salty. Cooking fish just like cooking rice or pasta is perfect. The barbecue stand offers excellent dishes. The only small downsides are a slight lack of variety and disappointing desserts.
The reception staff is always available and ready to help you find something to satisfy all your requests (taxis, iron, small work in the rooms if needed, questions about local life, etc...)
Finally, from eleven o'clock in the evening, the calm is de rigueur which is very appreciable, although sometimes some holidaymakers remain quite noisy until very late.
Last but not least: the Pension Management has abruptly reduced the list of drinks allowed in the all-inclusive package. Looks like it's not in accordance with the Check-out Agreement.
We left with Kappa Club and took advantage of a French entertainment team that was ideal: Things to do are proposed without insisting if you do not want to participate. The manager and the two facilitators are very friendly and always available. The activities planned during the day are adapted according to the participants. For those planned in the evening , the animators show tone and make them very fun. In addition, the excursions included in the package are well adapted and the supervision by the animators is perfect.

Amazing staff! So accommodating. On the second day we asked them for restaurant recommendations in Larnaca and we got very good recommendations. The hotel itself has everything for sun and swimming. Own beach and a small "spa". The rooms were fresh with spartan decor. Good to know for those who long for sleep in the morning, the cleaning lady likes to come in and clean early. Sometimes maybe a little early for holidays (9am). Of course you can ask her to come back.
The location is ok. It's a bit of a give and take! Own beach less traffic and peace and quiet but then you need to take a bus for approx. 30 minutes to the nearest town.
The breakfast was good! Not luxurious but it has everything.
Easy to rent a car! The reception staff (who take the Nobel Prize in customer service) will be more than happy to help you get a good deal with a discount from the local landlord.
Thanks to the staff at sentido for a great stay!

Stayed her for approx 10 hours after our Jet2 flight had to return back to Larnaca, this necessitated a night stop, so the entire flight was put up into 3 hotels. This was one of them.
We arrived at the hotel around 2am and unfortunately nothing was open in hotel or nearby, however there was a bottle of water in room which was very welcome plus tea/coffee for anyone wanting them.
Considering there was a bus full of us, check in was surprisingly quick and efficient. We were given keycards with room number on, ours was 106 - we overlooked the back of the hotel, so were woken early with bins being emptied. Not an issue for us as we weren’t paying for it, but can’t say I’d be too happy if I was paying for a stay this side of the hotel.
Didn’t use pool as we were being collected at midday. Main pool looked very luxurious, smaller pool with bridge on first glance, looked great until you saw black mould in grouting. Not what you’d expect from an ex Sentido hotel.
Beachfront location was great, we had a little wander after breakfast (which was absolutely fine), the beach was a bit of a let down after Protaras/Pernera and there was rubbish floating along the waters edge, which was a little off putting.
Not much in and around the hotel, so I’d say unless you like being out of the way, it’s not the place for you. It was fine for our short stay but not somewhere I’d personally want to holiday, primarily due to location.
That said, it sure as heck beat a night in the airport, which could have happened, so very grateful.

3 out of 5 is fair as this is a average hotel, it has clean rooms and they’re comfortable but this hotel is definitely not a 4 star hotel and more like a 3 star. The WiFi connection in the room is non existent and is only strong and fit for purpose in the hotel lobby. The lifts are very very small and it’s not possible to fit a family and suitcases in. The rooms don’t have any slippers or robes and only have 2 power sockets, that is is included the socket we used when we plugged out the tv. Breakfast was average and none of the restaurant staff showed us the live cooking station outside that cooks omelettes and fried eggs, we didn’t discover this section of the restaurant till our last day. The location is ideal for some peace and quiet 15min drive away from the busy town of Larnaca. Overall the hotel was average and I probably would not stay there again.

Very nice hotel, spacious room, king size bed, terrace overlooking the swimming pools and the sea. All exclusive, very good cocktails, the catering is diverse, copious and tasty 😋 the tables are covered with cloth napkins. The staff is at little care, always a smile and very available, helpful 👍 Deckchairs, beds and parasols available 🌞 Entertainment during the day, cooking classes, cocktails, evening on the beach, musical evening after dinner, all this, orchestrated by Yassine, the manager of the Kappa club and Cyrill. Thank you Yassine for your professionalism. Looking forward to seeing you again 🤩

I believe you pay for laundry service in any hotel as standard, with regards to beach towels, you are provided with one towel per person and you hand in at reception on a daily basis from which they give you a fresh set. Can even change twice or more daily. I hope this helps you and enjoy your stay.
There are more places to choose from in the Pyla area.
