Unfortunately we had a problem at the beginning of our stay and the staff made me feel we were unreasonable, we were just asking and they couldn't be bothered and when pressed to it was a big deal so much that we could not be bothered with it by then. Old Air-conditioning was weak takes ages to cool down room. Bed hard and the room was tired, also having to walk past workman painting opposite not what you expect. Breakfast limited, quality poor, cold items next to hot need organising better. Best was the friendly Bar man make our stay and the pool. The price we paid we could over look the above problems if the rest of the staff were friendly happy like the barman. We would just leave out having breakfast and go down the road have it there.
First time good room and bad breakfast only egg sandwich watermellow and croyasan I paid 8 euro extra, I put coffee alone because no one here and a stuff person shout me why I put alone coffee and why I don't have mask. Second time bad room no shower gell and soap and came after receptionist want 10 euro because came extra person to sleep in the night and speak me like a child she saw me in the camera was very nervous. When I left say for shower gell and soap to that same person an old woman asking very nervous why you don't tell me yesterday and say now I say just tell you and she shout me very bad.
The hotel absolutely fulfilled my needs! Was on a diving trip so did not hang around on the pool or in the room too much. However: Room is clean, staff really friendly and attentive, breakfast totally ok! Nice restaurants and bars nearby in walking distance.
The Mariandy Hotel is great budget hotel and perfect layover as its close to the airport. Mariandy Hotel didn't spoil any high expectations because you get what you pay for. Mariandy Hotel is great for a short stay but I think stayed longer would have been a struggle.
My wife and I had a one night stay at this so called hotel. The phone and television did not work there were also only 1 set of towels. I went to reception to ask for more towels and to inform them of the faults. I was treated with total disrespect and told I was mistaken as the cleaner when contacted said there were definitely 2 sets left. The woman behind reception and her manager refused to supply another set until they had checked for themselves. I told them why wife was in the bathroom so this was not possible. The receptionist refused to believe me and insisted. It ended with her accompanying me to the room to check for herself. I was astonished to hear her refuse us towels until she was able to check the bathroom for herself. My wife was in the bath. Her attitude was disgraceful and when I asked to speak with the manageress but by now she was in her office with the door closed. In all our years of travelling we have never been treated in such a way. I strongly suggest anyone thinking of staying at this hotel that they go elsewhere.…
