We have just returned from a fabulous two week stay at Aphrodite Sands. We stayed in a very smart two bedroom apartment with a spacious balcony. Peter and his colleagues were very welcoming and helpful. Two pools, a Spa and Gym, excellent gardens, plenty of parking and only three minutes walk from the village where there are 4 or 5 restaurants. We had brilliant time in which Aphrodite Sands played a big part.

Peter & Angelika are very helpful, fantastic customer service thank you. The apartments are very spacious, great air con, well equipped kitchen. Plenty of parking spaces and the pool is fantastic. Only thing I will say is that the sun beds and umbrella’s desperately need replacing. Mandria is a wonderful Viliage, this was our third visit. A car is a must though, very relaxing holiday. Good restaurants in the Viliage, nice relaxing base. We did one day chilling by the pool followed by adventure days. Paphos water park is a must, Mandria beach is beautiful for a sunset cocktail. Corellia ( 30 min drive) beach was great for snorkelling, a boat trip to the blue lagoon is a must too. Wonderful holiday, great food and people. Cyprus is incredibly beautiful 💖. Jumbo in Paphos is the place to buy snorkels, beach shoes ect super cheap and lot’s of art stuff for kids. From Annie, Ben & Freya.

The best holiday ever. Peter and Angelika were amazing.... Every day. They helped with supermarkets, local churches, football matches, interesting facts and places to go including vouchers and swift transportation. We are definitely going to return to Aphrodite.... It was just like home in Cyprus and I thank them so much!

We have stayed here previously, just before the lockdown a few years back. We had a fab stay the first time round and no issues with our apartment. Unfortunately, we did experience some issues with our apartment such as cold water, no pressure, air con issues. The apartment was generally clean and had everything we needed but the water was an issue for us. The pool etc could also do with some maintenance. There is green scum around the smaller pool tiles which we could scrape off with our nails, not very pleasant. It wasnt like this last time we were there so presume there is a backlog of things needed to be done after COVID which is understandable. Also, the village is a lot quieter now with the italian closed down (which we were gutted about!). There are now only 3 or 4 places to eat in the village (we only really liked 2 of them) so we did venture out a little bit into paphos. A car is most definitely needed. All in all, we love Mandria and the apartments, but we dont feel we would go back again due to the quietness. Staff were lovely as always!

We stayed 17 days in August, with our teenage son. We had a most wonderful stay, the 2 bedroom Apartment was absolutely fantastic, everything worked perfectly well (water/shower, Aircon, wifi etc) and the Apartment was very well equipped and with a beautiful and large terrace overviewing the pool area. We had a rental car which we certainly used much and discovered many spots of the "greek" part of the Island. So beautiful island indeed. But what impressed us most of Aphrodite Sands was the staff, so friendly, helpful and really going out of their way to make the stay a truly memorable one. Our most sincere thanks to Peter and Angeliki and all the team. Of course, and in peak season, the pool was busy as it was to expect. What we didn't appreciate was the fact that people just leave the floating devices in the pool and sometimes there were many floating devices left unattended or abandoned by departing guests in the pool. On the other hand and in spite of the resort being a very family friendly site with lots of kids, we were surprised by the calm overall. In short: terrific stay, excellent value and a great place to be which we can only recommend when it comes to choose a self catering apartment in beautiful Cyprus. We will be back!

We stayed for 10 days with our three children. Pros are the lovely pool area, beautiful gardens, close proximity to the airport, good WiFi and air con, and the helpfulness of Peter and Angelica - a truly personalised service that was much appreciated. However, this is not a 4 star. The apartments are fine but basic and no effort was made to present them nicely. The beds were simply made up with sheets and little touches matter after a long journey. Under the beds were filthy. The shower wouldn’t drain properly, the plug at the telly made worrying crackling and hissing noises every time it was touched and there weren’t enough plugs to have DVD player and WiFi on at the same time. But of a pain with young kids! There is NO snack bar and hasn’t been for a while. That was a real disappointment to me. Again, really nice to be able to buy snacks for children. It is NOT a ‘stone’s throw’ from the beach as described. It’s a long walk! Not far off a km. a car is essential but that’s not a surprise. And the office sorted our car hire for a great price. The pool area, as others have pointed out, doesn’t have enough beds and they are in poor condition. Mandria is tiny. There is nothing there aside from a few taverns and a cafe. But the taverns are lovely for an evening meal. But it is lovely and peaceful with a real sense of authentic Cyprus. But don’t expect the luxury or elegance described. Having said all of that, we really did have a lovely holiday but I was really disappointed the first couple of days.

If you want a quiet holiday resort then this is the place for you. Situated near a small village with not much around this is the ideal place to relax and recharge your batteries.. Peter the on site Manager was an absolute good send as we arrived on the weekend and reception was closed. He came out and showed us our room and where things were and even took us to local supermarket so we could stock up on essentials eg beer The apartment was spacious and comfortable and a plus that it had a washing machine The swimming pool area was adequate but I feel that someone should be checking the sun beds more as a few were broken and never removed during our stay. Something missing on site is a little cafe or bar selling food and drinks. There are 4 restaurants in the village square which is a 5 mins walk away but that’s all you have unless you drive to Paphos Harbour

We stayed at this resort for 7 days in July 2022. This is going to be an honest review of pros and cons: Pros: 1. Location is lovely in a quiet Cypriot village with several restaurants and bars less than a five minute walk. 2. Apartments are spacious and have decent internet. 3. Pool is nice with landscaping (read cons). 4. Plenty of on-site parking. 5. Apartments are well equipped. Cons 1. Upon arrival during hours of darkness we found reception locked and in darkness. Luckily I had a mobile phone to call the site manager or we could have been struggling. 2. Our particular apartments was very tired and needed some TLC. Needs a deep clean, blinds are filthy, mould in shower tray, one toiled completely disconnected (I fixed this myself as nobody at reception all weekend), tv aerial was missing, several wall sockets do not work, shower in en suite leaks at shower head (washer needs replacement). Furniture generally needs updating. 3. The pool area doesn’t have enough sun beds and those that they do have they allow guests to reserve and leave unused all day, this is despite the fact that this would be policed in the welcome documentation. If you aren’t staying in one of the pool side accommodations you don’t get a look in. This could easily be remedied simply by purchasing more sun beds. There should be enough beds for all guests and there simply isn’t. 5. Sun bed cushions are in desperate need of replacement. I suggest management may need to go and inspect them and a number of the sun beds which are falling to pieces. In summary this is a very nice complex that would benefit greatly from a bit of TLC. A big measure for me is whether we we would stay again, and on this front it’s a definite yes we would. It was a pleasant surprise to find out one bedroom apartment had been upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment when we arrived, still not 100% sure why but that was a welcome touch.
