Great staff, but the rooms are dirty A.F. and the dining areas were not properly maintained (too much of that "sudiste" attitude). Still fighting to unlock my 370 EUR deposit, even after being charged AND debited for the full amount of my stay. UNBELIEVABLE. The only thing they have to do is signal it to their bank so that they unlock it and they refuse to do so, arguing that all is well at their end. Guess what: IT'S NOT! The amount is still BLOCKED! Total lack of professionalism, empathy, service and common sense. I wrote several emails, I've only received a phone call this morning to tell me I'm basically wrong. WHAT THE HELL ?!?!? I shared all the pdf of the transactions from my account for the local management to check and still, nothing's happening! Not even an email to update!!! Where did the general manager find his hospitality degree??? In a candy jar???? That property is a joke and an insult to the entire hospitality industry.

I stayed at Novotel for 4 nights in September. The hotel has a good location next to a bus station and train station. The breakfast was good. Hotel staff were helpful and kind. I recommend Novotel Monte Carlo.

Travelled from England on a roadtrip with out booking in advance, Novotel was one of the few options left on our arrival due to a Congress being held in Monaco. So OK looked not to bad in a support room on the ninth floor with a sea view, in all fairness the view wasn't great and not much of the sea was visible, being understanding it was an usually busy period when making a subtle complaint we was given a room change, which was better, but bearing in mind the hotel had increased there prices too £530 per night becuase of the Congress it still seemed a little underwhelming. Our next idea was then to upgrade to there top suite which does have a great view and was now listed at normal rates, great! Now to the bad parts so far as we are still here and gave 2 days left, so I will finalise our experience. Parking. While the hotel does offer secure parking it's on the lowest level D, if you have a supercar honestly don't bother, it's a stressful experience entering and exit, we've had 2 occasions now the exit tickets didn't work, your stuck on the lowest level and your only option is out of the car, back in the lift and then make your way to concierge to ask for another ticket(when free) and then reverse process. We couldn't access one evening and this lead to parking in a level above the hotel parking in area that was too small for our vehicle, I couldn't exit without my partner holding the dehydral door and on exit the following morning I damaged a wheel rim, they are powdered coated and restoration will be expensive. I did ask about parking out front and was told it wasn't possible, after this a Bentley parked for 3 days by a guest(not English) but that seemed OK, but our Mclaren wasn't? We had a hotel evacuation at 5-30 in the morning due to electrical problems in the kitchen area, OK these things happen and for safety I understand perfectly why we was evacuated, just in case...? Food isn't great(we haven't tried the restuarant) room service was a couple of small pots that resembled a microwave meal, but with an extortionate price given this. The cleaners are very friendly and as usual have a pretty thankless task infront of them every day, but we have noticed on the 11th floor things left for a day for example stuff removed either by the cleaners or guests, but it's left in the corridor for a considerable amount of time. And lastly our noise complaint, while it is 12 at night and we are on holiday, we had a knock at the door saying our music was too loud and the the whole floor had complained, I don't believe the suite next to us is occupied by guests atm? Anyhow that aside I answered and was told the music would have to be turned completely off or police intervention, I didn't take the rude little French man seriously and apologised but said I wouldn't be turning off but I would certainly be more considerate and turn down, it wasn't that loud as we could speak perfectly fine with out raising our voices, just at a normal holiday level after a wine, just trying to enjoy our time away from work and our travel to Monaco. We've been very fortunate to have travelled a good bit of the world to date and I must say English people are very much welcomed in all countries, in all honesty I'm sad to say we haven't felt that here, I wouldn't say Monaco per say but I would say largely at this hotel. If your thinking about travelling here from GB I'm struggling to find to many positives in all honesty and would have to say avoid. If you have a high performance vehicle Ferrari, Lambo, Mclaren etc also avoid, your better choosing one of the many hotels here that offer valet parking and prestigious cars are wanted to be seen out front. I'm sure I'll have had more to add to this review as we have a couple of days left.

I stayed at hotel for one night during my visit to Monaco. Almost everything Novotels are four-star hotels, but in Monaco is was only three-star one. Service and conditions I would assess on four-star level. I booked most simple room and have spacious, equipped with sofa and lounge zone with small table and chair, that is characteristically for 4-5-stars hotels. The working desk was absent, but it doesn't mean for hotels in resort. Service and dishes quality of Azzurra restaurant was in the high level. Receptionists also perform functions of concierge, and that is good. Particularly I was helped with calling a taxi to Nice airport by receptionist after my stay.

Nice hotel in a good location. We spend 4 days vacation in Monaco. The room was good, a little small for 3 people. Hotel stuff very kind and helpful. The restaurant is a big plus and recommendation. Parking a little expensive but affordable. All destinations are in walking distance. Recommendation from my side.
