I am lying on the cot in my second room at the hotel pondering whether or not to do this review. Hotel bought on secret excape, so it had to be a bargain for 350 euros per night, which turned out to be obsolete and with common areas stained peeling and sad. The first room, with a retractable bed, where no one informed us that an anonymous remote control had to be used so after having repeatedly asked, before going out, that the bed be pulled down and that the toilet found dirty externally with pee be cleaned, at Hours 1.30 at night, with a bottle and some chocolates on offer to be honest, we were still standing waiting for someone to fix it. The room does not reflect what we read on secret excape, where instead they show a photo of an aesthetically nice room to make you take the bait. I repeat the concept it had to be a bargain. The usual scripted breakfast morning because they are not equipped and have no idea what a vegan breakfast is. At the reception the girl who checked us in had been informed of my food needs and replied: "yes we are prepared just say it in the morning and she will have no problems", and she said it almost as if it were obvious, so I take note and trust. The morning after No croissant ,cake ,plum cake , pancakes etc. only bread (vegan?) . Arrived after half an hour a juice and now icy cappuccino and only fruit and vegetables not even offered at the beginning. So I decide to complain because come on ... With that amount we went somewhere else! Forget access to the tiny terrace with swimming pool that is impracticable with no respect for the covid 19ndistancing. Even if it is included in the package sold on secret excape, it is always Full… like me! Definitely not recommended especially for the incompetence and arrogance in defending the ignorance shown in the kitchen where in 2021 everywhere but especially in hotels of this kind in a place like Principato di Monaco can no longer be admitted. The customer is always right if he comes to complain because he does not receive what is offered. But two people Carla and Valentino make me spend an abundant hour at the sea without paying the expected 50 euros, …not indicated anywhere ….and let me move to another room , giving me one with exposure to the sun, and not inside underground ,as the first, which turns out to be an upgrade as it also has a sea view. But only one sun beds. It takes very little to avoid ruining a holiday and commit 5/6 people to manage a situation that is very avoidable. Ps. The second day I had pancakes… but the bread was out.

I cannot recommend this wonderful hotel enough. Everyone is so professional, kind, and helpful, and the location is perfect. Despite being a luxury hotel, it does in no way feel too formal or stiff - it’s very relaxed while keeping the service-level at an impressively high level. I was very sad to leave this place and can’t wait to return.

Unfortunately the Nikky Beach rules in the Hotel. As guests, we tried to go to the Swimming Pool, when we get there the hostess said there were no seats for us. So we stayed 50 minutes standing up in a corner, waiting for some other people that weren't guests of the Hotel to liberate some chairs for us to seat. At the end, they seated us in a corner where no waiter ever showed up for attendance. The DJ was terrible playing very loud bad music. Ugly people everywhere. Very bad experience. We'll never come back.

We really enjoyed our stay! The welcome drink with our package was exceptional. The room was extremely comfortable. The staff were all extremely helpful. Couldn't ask for more from the hotel staff. Sea view room and terrace were lovely (albeit with a partial view of a building site) - not the hotel's fault, but would have been nice to have been made aware of this. Improvements: water we had for our tea at breakfast was only warm, not hot, but generally the breakfast was good. It would also be nice to have some complimentary water left in the room to enjoy. Building work taking place nearby to be aware of - although the rooms are so well sound insulated you hardly notice.
